I'd lay my house against Vitali winning it.

As other people have said, the draw would be critical.

The other important factor would be how fighters handled the schedule ring wear and the off setback. It might be smart to bet on a mule rather than a thoroughbred.

I am not saying that it would be one of them two, but they would take the least damage as the tournament progresed.

I'm glad someone agrees. I'm really surprised at all these Lennox Lewis shouts. In his prime, he lost to 2 certified bumbs. I can't imagine Rahman or McCall beating any of the other fighters listed here.

Thought it might be interesting to give some height/weight stats on these guys.

Listed by height (weights I averaged around times won world title)

    Vitali - 6'7 245 lbs

    Lennox - 6'5 235 lbs

    Baer - 6'2 1/2 205 lbs

    Louis - 6'2 197 lbs

    Dempsey - 6'1 188 lbs

    Frazier - 5'11 1/2 200

    Tyson - 5'10 220 lbs

    Marciano - 5'10 185 lbs

This would be a cracking 1st round:

    Vitali vs Dempsey

Marciano vs Frazier - They'd half kill each other

    Lennox vs Louis

    Baer vs Tyson

I think Marciano, Tyson, Louis and Vitali go through:

    Semi's:

    Vitali vs Louis

    Marciano vs Tyson

Marciano vs Vitali in the final.

Since there are 8 boxers might as well make this a bracket tournment as oposed to around robin.
Seeds based on ESB All time Heavyweight survey.

height and 4 inches in reach. Louis has decptive punching spee and should be able to time Klitschko's jab and land enough to stop him late.

6′ 5″ and weighs in the 235 -256 Lbs range. This one ends early. It comes down to physics. Not hart and not skill. Lewis ko 3.

    Final
Bracket 1. Winner: Joe Louis vs Bracket 2 winner: Lenox Lewis.
I'm going to keep you all in a little bit of sunpinse as I work out who I think will win this match up, why and how.
