It would be Ali. I love Tyson as a fan but Ali would bring even more media attention than Tyson did and had great longevity. When I think how awesome Tyson was I'm swayed but Ali and the circus around him knew how to manipulate the media perfectly.
Mike Tyson. Has nothing to do with who was better head to head, I just always loved his style and to this day enjoy watching any Tyson vids/highlights.
This question comes down to one thing for most people Do you want to see the Klitschkos humiliated in press conferences and interviews and then schooled in the ring Or do you want to see them both KTFO
Both. Ali for the 24/7 and for Tyson cleaning out the eurotrash that is rampant in the heavyweight class.
^ Agreed, hard to believe. We barely got to see Ali in his prime because of the conscription issue. Tyson was very exciting in his prime but never fought or beat anybody great in this time in my opinion.
I'd take back a prime Tommy Morrison at this point. Throw in Razor Ruddock and theres a good chance the Klits aren't ruling the division.
the 80s heavyweight contenders would have creamed the contenders of today. The Larry Holmes that Tyson beat would have kicked their asses for god's sake.
I really cant believe how some of these clowns around here can asset that today's heavyweight division is superior to previous eras. it's a pure joke.
At first, I chuckled. Then **** got dead serious. Holmes four years later actually went the distance and won rounds against Holyfield and gave Mercer the business.
