Who would you like to see Agit Kabayel fight in his first WBC title defense?

I reckon it's a lock in that he fights Gassiev

    All very true

To the point that Fury was using Kabayel a name as a possible opponent just to meet a top 15 requirement

Not many people rated him what so ever and was appauled Fury was looking at him

Wilder won the belt in 2015 and signed to fight Povetkin in 2016.

Wilder was an active champion ... namely 12 title fights in five years.

If Kabayel got four optional defenses, Agit wouldn't fight a mandatory until well into the 2030s. The guy never gets in the ring.

    Wilder was active alright

    Actively looking for weak defences

    Agree about Kabayel tho

He won't be a busy champion

A very degenerate list, and I mean that intentionally, purposefully and with a goal (the goal is our degeneration).
Dubois is not in the first million on the WBC list :D, and Verhofen is eighth.
I would like a unification of Kabayel Vs. Dubois, and from the boxers offered - Bakhodir Jalolov.

Wilder fought in 12 WBC title fights in five years (2015 to 2020).

Agit was just handed the vacant WBC belt this year. Let's see how long it takes for him to even get in the ring for his first official WBC heavyweight title fight.

He's yet to sign to do it even once. It took Agit 10 years to arrange his last 12 fights and he wasn't even champ.

Again, we'll be waiting YEARS for this guy to **** or get off the pot.

Told you, I agree I don't think Kabayel will be a active champion
He seems to want to make calculated moves and get out of the game ASAP
Not a bad strategy but not ideal for fans

He's been a pro for 15 years already. It took him that long to be handed an actual vacant belt. And now he's staring off into space.

His whole career has been one slow calculated move. He's done nothing ASAP.

Guys like Martin and Stiverne are some of the worst belt holders in the HISTORY of boxing. So, while I agree with the facts you mentioned, it doesn't change my opinion on the matter. We shouldn't look for the lamest examples in history to prove a point.

I don't think he'll want to risk feeling Gassiev's brutal left hook, when he can make an easy voluntary defence against the likes of Riakporhe, Novitskyi and Xhoxhaj.

Ajagba..................for some odd reason he continues to be a "name" in the division. This would be a show case fight against a "top 10" guy (and an easy one)

Last thing Kabayel needs is another easy fight. He needs to start challenging himself.

I hope that I am wrong, but based on the Kynba performance, and listening to his team call out WladKlit and Verhoueven, I have the strong suspicion that Kabayel is already in his silk pajamas phase.

Which is disappointing. I will be his number 1 critic if he goes down this route.

if only Joseph Parker had a bit more natural talent and only if he hadn’t bulked up so much. The guy is such a warrior. I wish more fighters had his attitude

I think he'll have one more run in him. Hopefully he'll be back, soon.
