Not really. There are a lot of Americans voting Witter, which ****s up this theory nobody gives a **** outside the UK...
I agree it would have been a better poll if the nationalities were known. But if the % remain similar then it's fair to assume that a large number of them are Non-Brits.
I'd like to see Malignaggi vs. Witter and then the winner can get a Superfight Vs. Hatton. Ricky has earened his spot by hard work over the years, he has earned the right to pick and choose right now. these fighters need him more than he needs them. Tho if they fought I see Hatton beating Witter.. A Paulie fight on the other hand might be carrear suicide for Hatton from a style's point of view.
Theres also plenty voting Pac and Pauli but we'll never know from the figures because the poll contains so many brit votes.
I would rethink that post and switch the opponents round. Hatton would blow Paulie away, or wear him down and KO him - whilst Witter would be a much tougher assignment - still one I see him winning mind.
All three sound pretty interesting. In order of preference: Manny Pac (because they both HIT) Witty Junior (because of the BEEF) Malignaggi (to see one of them destroyed)
Even if we say they are about even (thats being generous, I doubt 20 odd Brits voted), that gives Witter parity Stateside amongst real boxing fans. Added to that the significance of it domestically, and it just shows how "nobody cares about Witter" was never actually a valid excuse
I base it on Paulie's ability to last thru punishment bro.. Cotto really did a number on him and he lasted. still, styles make fights so we truly will never know. Could Witter have taken that type of punishment from a Cotto? that's what I'm thinking ^^^ Paulie did, and tho I'm not the biggest fan of the "Magicman" he showed alot of gut's in that fight.
why exactly? Because he has the gall to call out your dear little Wicky? interesting results so far, this bollocks excuse that nobody outside of the UK knows about Witter is getting blown right out of the water once and for all.
