Liston was legitimately scarier from what I've researched, he was a hard, stone individual.

Tyson always gave off his rage and anger came from him being fearful of everyone around him. Like a dog that's frightened and doesn't wanna bite you but will.

I met Mike Tyson at a press conference when he was promoting boxing in China, like an amateur program. It ultimately fell through because he wasn't given permission to enter the country.

However, everyone at the conference was like totally fanboying over him. Don't get me wrong, so was I, but more internally. I took a seat on a small bench as I waited for the actual conference to start. Imagine my surprise when I looked up and he was asking if he could sit next to me. I told him, no and to **** off...just kidding! I scooted over and we talked a bit until some nob came over and told me to look out because he may bite me. HILARIOUS!

As a fanboy, I asked for an autograph after the press conference. He said no, I'm probably a reseller. I wasn't going to argue with him so I said ok thanks anyway. He called me back and then signed like 3 things for me that were laying around the table in front of him. It was a pretty awesome day.

I'm reading a sonny Liston book and I do agree a lot of the stuff the cops "got him " for was total bull****.

I've been on this site for years...we've had gentlemen on here that have since passed away...and they had been part of the boxing scene for years...they trained at Stillman's Gym...Gleason's Gym's...watched Marciano train and get ready for Joe Louis in 1951...watched Joe Louis work out and ready himself for the second Billy Conn fight in 1946...watched Ray Robinson train and fighting Jake LaMotta in 1951...they would tell us of their "first hand" accounts of all the legendary boxers in action...now it comes down to "Who was nicer?...Liston or Tyson?" What's your favorite?...Chocolate or Vanilla?"...Do you like the color Blue? What the hell has happened? Just asking,,,
