Floyd is faster. It just looks slower because he's more measured and wastes less punches. Floyd is a perfectionist while Manny is just a ****** who splashes paint on his canvas.

Pac is faster. Floyd cannot throw the combos with the speed Pac does. This is why the Mayweathers fear him dearly.

You make too much sense. These couch boxers know more than guys who actually fought both. Those Floyd opponents DKSAB.

Marquez already said Pacquiao is much quicker.

Mosley already said Pacquiao hits much harder. Not heavy handed (like Duran) but it stings and stuns.

Their answers are the best we have to answering this question.

he is quicker with 1 punch bec he doesnt commit.

against pac, he will be forced to commit and throw more than 1 to deter pac from coming in.

he cant be moving for the whole 12. at some point, he will be forced to stay and trade, or be cornered.

bingo! you hit it right! as good as a defensive boxer is floyd he wont be able to dodge all the punches of pac. as bradley just said every punch is a death blow.

Mayweather throws single punches faster, whereas Pacquiao throws rapid flurries.

:roFL Clown.. Suggesting pacquiao or anybody else for that mattter, is more accurate than Mayweather is ludicrously absurd.

floyd's defense doesnt work against southpaws.

he will get off first and clinch.

    or stick and move.

...because he found Corley awkward? (which may, you know, be due to Corley being awkward - not strictly due to him necessarily being a southpaw...)

...because Judah took some early rounds and scored an uncredited knockdown? (but proceeded to get schooled)

His defense seemed to work fine against Ortiz. (whose big wide hooking attacks pressing Mayweather into the ropes didn't actually produce very many actual connections, pitifully few in fact if you watch in slow motion and count the clean blows...)

His defense was fully operational against Guerrero. (who is generally pretty accurate)

Time for that myth to go bye-bye. :hi:
