Who's going to be in Mitchell's corner on Dec 5?

I heard Kevin Mitchell is being trained at the Wild Card - is Freddie Roach going to be in his corner on December 5th against Prescott?

It will be interesting to see how many rounds the fights goes and what gameplan roach comes up with. :good

hes being trained by jimmy tibbs now. not sure what happened with roach, just didnt work out

He said that his partner is pregnant and he felt that he needed to be in the UK and going back and forth from L.A wasn't right for him or his family so he went with Jimmy Tibbs.

 

I spoke with Kevin about this a little while ago and he said

" I went over there and seen how they trained an what they did then come back and watched my brother training with Jimmy Tibbs and thought they were doing things very similar to what Roach was doing so I thought why not see how it goes with Jimmy first"

I thought it was really good to give 1 of our trainers a go for once cos I firmly believe we have coaches every bit as good here as they do there!! I firmly believe Tibbs is every bit as good as Roach!!:good

This was the article i was talking about. Looks like it's for the best he joined Tibbs and something he's had good think about.

 

Looking forward to his fight. I think Tibbs will need to give some big help in the fight.
