As we know Kahn's fighting in malignaggi's back garden on May 15 on the same card as nate campbell and victor ortiz both good quality fights but airing at 9.45 ET/PT roughly 1.45 (GMT). Also on May 15 at a more respectable hour for us brits, Kevin Mitchell is fighting Michael Katsidis and with perhaps a, for us brits anyway, superior undercard consisting of the British and Commonwealth Heavyweight Championship between Danny Williams and Sam Sexton; Olympic Gold medallist James DeGale challenges for the first title in his career - the WBA International Super-Middleweight Championship; unbeaten heavyweight star Derek Chisora; and Britain's hot young prospects Frankie Gavin and Billy Joe Saunders. With this card of british boxing action for free who here can justify putting in the extra hours, especially for those of us who work on sunday mornings myself included, for a man who quite frankly couldn't wait to get out of england, obviously it won't be without its rewards no matter what anyone says kahns a dynamic explosive fighter who can produce a knockout at the drop of a hat but is he really worth the effort at the moment?
What are you on about? he left to train with Freddie, still lives here most of the year, and yeah I'll be staying up to watch the fight, hopefully they show the Ortiz/Campbell fight also.
What a great night of boxing. Looking forward to Mitchell/Kat a lot more to be honest and Ortiz/Campbell is a terrific crossroads fight. Khan/Malignaggi takes the consolation prize but it should still be interesting just more predictable.
I'm excited about this one! Sexton-Williams is an interesting one, hopefully Sexton will win with a good performance and go on to fight at European level +1
By time i get in from Mitchell-Katsidis i end up sitting down to have something to eat and then sit back and enjoy this fight.
Do you know how much of that is bull****. You might want to catch up on the latest boxing news and last time i checked sky sports wasn't free.
If it wasn't on ITV it would have been on SBO along with the Mitchell fight, so worked out well for the fans.
Cricky man, "who's stopping up for the fight" are normally reserved for the night of the fight - not two weeks before. Yes, I'll be stopping up.
I don't think I'll bother staying up for it. Not when the outcome is so obvious (imo). Although it would be interesting to see if Khan stops him. I think he will and if he does, it will be impressive.
:deal I'm anticipating a light snack after returning from Upton Park, a couple of beers and then Khan :good
