I definitley felt Barrera won that one. It was close but Barrera dropped him then hit him when he was down. The ref took a point off Barrera and didn't score the knock down so that was a 3 point swing under 10 point must scoring. How often do you see a fighter get hit again after being dropped. If not for that 3 point swing Barrera definitley won but it was still close for me regardless. Also Khan's win over Barrera is bull **** as well. That fight should have been stopped as soon as Barrera got the cut, which was horrendous, but they let it go on to the fifth so that Khan would get the win instead of it being a no contest.
I don't always agree with you but this is so true and as a added bonus made me spit out my coffee all over my keyboard laughing... thanks :rofl
For me Bradley's win over Pacquiao was a robbery, the second fight was a bit closer though. His win over Marquez was not a robbery but it was pretty close, I felt Bradley maybe just edged it to be honest. If you look at Bradley's over all resume it is solid. This is not his finest hour right now, I personally don't think he is past it I just think he never knocks out guys and throughout his career he has rarely completely shut out guys as well. I would like to see him against Brook and Khan. I would favour him over both. If he can beat then, and maybe win a strap at light middle I would then consider him as great as Marquez is. You have to remember Marquez started out at feather weight.
Let's be honest about Marquez's resume - it's not that good... He has legit losses to norwood, john, mayweather, BRADLEY, and pacquiao. His best wins are (roided to the gills) over Pacquiao, a shot Casamayor, juan diaz, and shot Barrera....if you really believe he won that fight. Tim bradley has built a rock solid resume...and he's far from done. This guy is going to get a fight with Brook i believe and lift that belt. There's a lot of good boxing ahead.
Marquez let Brad get some fights under his belt stop fighting older guys ( that Siberian kid almost took his head off.
