Man, I dunno. I keep shelling out the big bucks for these box sets but they never arrive. There's something wrong with Fedex, I think.

Duran and Floyd are 2 of the best to ever do this. Duran could win sure but then so could Floyd. If Esteban devJesus could beat Duran on points Then conceivably do could Floyd.

Duran is my favourite fighter ever but for all round greatness it has to be Ali

I love Sims, every fight was ententaining. You seen the Barkley fight?

Went back and fourth in my head for half an hour, there can be arguments for both fighters and you have to take points away from Ali since HW is only 1 weight class while Duran fought across and won world titles across 4 weight classes despite being a midget. They're both the GOAT at Lightweight and Heavyweight.

At the end of the day I'd still have to go with Ali. Ali has the better overall wins and Duran's post No Mas career is pretty underwhelming despite some incredible wins yet even more incredible losses.

Well then by that logic Duran could also KTFO Floyd. Twice.

Floyd fought nothing like DeJesús, that comparison is ass.

    Yep, Monzon too.
    Robinson as well.
And then there are the "forgotten" greats like Tacoma Assasin Freddie Steele that look like stone killers with a record to match:

MW is proper deep, it's the 2nd best division ever IMO, after LW. My top is as follows:

    1. Harry Greb
    2. Carlos Monzon
    3. Marvin Hagler
    4. Sugar Ray Robinson
    5. Bernard Hopkins
    6. Bob Fitzsimmons
    7. Jake LaMotta
    8. Freddie Steele
    9. Dick Tiger
    10. Holman Williams

No. IIRC, I've only seen Sims' fights against Duran and Benn.

That's a reasonable position also, because I too consider losses as a black mark, and don't just look at the wins. Duran could undertrain and look like crap. Ali - while in his prime, anyway - always trained hard and gave the sport the respect it deserves.

Barkley fight is all-out war. Better than both of those IMO.

There's guys that will argue with you about Walker, Burley, Fullmer and Ketchel too. And I personally think GGG > Hopkins ;)
