We need to instruct you fella's on our religion a bit more, Guzman is not the son of god, he's merely an elite prince of the holy empire(I cannot stress the word elite enough), where as Gamboa is the god-King and Mijares is God in the flesh.

   - hyping is alright, if one is able to stand by it when they fail.

To me there is nothing wrong with getting excited about new talents in boxing - most of the ones we had are fading now, and we need new material.

@Huki, you seem to have great confidence in Mijares ability to stop fighters before the time is up, when he is pretty featherfisted, which to me is his only flaw.

I picked a wide UD against Munoz.. which almost turned out to be an incorrect pick because Mijares was close to taking him out at one point. He just needed more time in the round.

As for Montiel, I wouldn't be very surprised if Montiel lasted all 12 rounds. He has a pretty shaky chin, but he is tough as hell and I could see him coming back after getting stunned badly by Mijares. He would get a worse beating than Munoz though IMO and Munoz has a better chin than him, I would favor Montiel to get stopped late.

And as for Donaire, his chin is questionable and I believe he will crumble mentally against Mijares after only a few rounds, start panicking, get very sloppy, and waste a ton of energy by the mid rounds. I also think his stamina isn't good. I would be shocked if he lasted all 12 rounds, especially because he seems like the type of fighter who will go all out for the KO when he's behind rather than fight safety-first and make it to the final bell.

What happened to Joe Calzaghe's supernatural status? Has he been downgraded or is he just left off this train?

JC has already trancended the supernatural status. My guess is that AMSTERDAM has not yet found a propel title to give him since his dominant victory over an ATG in Hopkins.

Wouldn't Gamboa be like the son of God at this point? He's clearly not as good at this stage as Mijares. He's still green, whereas Mijares is at his best thus far, and the difference seems pretty clear right now.

not like AMS said, Gamboa is God-King on talent alone. He was born with the tools he merely has to learn how to use them. Think of Superman when he was little, he didn't know how to fly or anything.

He's past his best and is no longer a Supernatural, a top elite still, but not a Supernatural anymore.

Calzaghe's status as my original Supernatural, whom I based the definition off of, is well secured.

I was only referring to the first page, dear Huki, not on a general basis.

Thanks for elaborating, and I do think it would be great to see Mijares utilizing his superiority with (T)KOs especially against top ranks.:good

He's a fantastic boxer, and his accuracy and efficiency leads to stoppage wins regardless. Certainly more skilled and versatile than Pacquiao.
