I picked Canelo last time and I’m even more confidently picking him this time. I think GBP have slowed GGGs career down in terms of inactivity and you cant afford to be inactive late in your career.

Picked GGG last time but leaning towards Canelo for this fight. Canelo led GGG around the ring by his nose last time, showed fancy footwork not running IMO, and demonstrated growth as a boxer where as GGG was lacking with a game plan and avoided the body of Big Red.
Bottom line Canelo impressed me where as G just looked average

    Canelo is better defensively
Canelo has much better punch placement
    Canelo is has better timing
Canelo is a better counter puncher
    Canelo is more explosive
    Canelo is faster
    Canelo is more versatile

GGG is better at coming forward with his chin exposed
GGG is naturally bigger and packs a big punch
    GGG has a better jab

You're arguing with a troll bro. Even GGG fans know Canelo is better skilled.

I went with Canelo and said it was a 51-49 type fight in favor of Canelo last time. I was right, as the fight was a close it it could have been and ended in a draw.

I'm going with Canelo this time as well as he is the smarter more versatile boxer who will likely adapt much better, who actually adapted much better than GGG in the championship rounds.

Skilled boxers usually perform better in the rematch.

Canelo proved to be the better boxer.
Golovkin proved to be the better pressure fighter.

Golovkin missed 70% of his punches.
Canelo landed the cleaner harder punches.

Golovkin's success came when Alvarez slowed down in rounds 4-9.
Canelo's success came when he was boxing in the middle of the ring and when he had Golovkin befuddled in the championship rounds.

Golovkin was spent in the championship rounds.
    Canelo finished stronger.

Neither fighter dominated. Not the outcome of the fight suggests that, not Punches landed suggest that either.

    Your post has been refuted.

Fancy canelo to win it....don't think they,ll be much in it again tho. Canelo,s got the one thing no opponent had against golovkin....the big counter punch. Or the punch that made golovkin hesitant to get to work like he usually does.

Only seen the fight at the time but pretty sure canelo trained to time him coming in. Golovkin had the prospect of meeting a big punch when he went over the line.

Its not like canelo,s the better boxer...its just that its easier to fight on the counter against a style like golovkins come forward approach. Golovkin needs to concentrate on his boxing more this time round...pick the times to go in to work. Go in with the intention of boxing him.

People don't rate canelo as a puncher but hes a better puncher with opponents coming to him. He's got enough pop in them to stop a fighter coming in with abandon. Also got enough physicality to almost match golovkin on the inside as opposed to every other challenger. A big strong boy is Canelo. Can see it going the same way as the first but with canelo doing enough to win it. Golovkin ageing....started blowing a bit harder in fights in recent years.

Stopped reading after you said dominated. Even in the rounds G won, Canelo was still displaying superb defense and landing better punches. Go back and watch the fight. Please try to list anround Golovkin dominated because you won’t find one.

El Pollo is training at high altitude to help his poor stamina, but he will count on Oscar's hand picked judges, referee and boxing commission! As I predicted, Golovkin would win the fight, but Oscar's judges will give it to El Pollo, however, Oscar allowed the judges to call it a draw because he wanted a rematch, in fact, Oscar said that would be three fights...................look out of corruption, Golovkin needs to knock El Pollo out to get another draw! I had Golovkin wining the fight 8 rounds to 4, so did Lederman, Paulie had it 9 rounds to 3 Golovkin, Nacho Beristain had it for Golovkin, etc., the crowd had it for Golovkin, Bob Bennett was so very proud of his favorite judge Byrd............

I picked G the first fight... fight itself overall looked how I thought it would for the most part, but Canelos chin took some punches that I thought would rattle him harder.

For the rematch I will be picking Canelo by SD or UD.

I'm not sure there are many anticipating that Golovkin will be the one to do better in the rematch. I'd wager anybody still riding with GGG now probably scored the first a fair margin wider for him than in the neighborhood of a draw. (thus figuring there's a cushion for him to play with, if he can replicate the same form, so that maybe he'll lose one more round but still win...on their card...)

So the shorter fighter, with shorter reach, less power, lower punch output, and worse stamina, won 5 rounds (imo) against Golovkin while also having 'poor boxing skills'?

    Incredible.

El Pollo will be counting on Oscar's judges referee and boxing commission, but I think Golovkin will go for the knockout this time as he has to realize the fight is fixed....................I picked Golovkin in the first fight, I also pick Golovkin in the rematch, but expect Oscar's boxing officials to cheat for him...................still, Golovkin will be after El Pollo, the fight should be more intense. El Pollo knows he does not have to fight at all to win a decision, Oscar will win the fight for him, but Golovkin will probably go for the knockout this time, or out box El Pollo, then set him up for the big punch, it's difficult when Oscar has Lawrence Cole or Tony Weeks helping him................
