    Lennox Lewis for sports results.
He beat everyone he stepped into the ring with.
It is enough to mention the wins over Holyfield, Tyson and Vitaly; I don't have to go on.
P.S. the truth is that Lewis chose when the fights would take place (except for the fight with Vitaly)

Any one of a dozen guys is OK.

    I like Rocky.

That's a good point. Some of the big names Lewis whooped were off their primes when he did so. The Vitali fight imho is huge for his resume because he should have lost it and instead he stood on his nutsack to turn that fight around and win over a younger opponent.

A toss up between Larry Holmes and Lennox Lewis depending on the day. There is a huge gap between number 1 & 2 and 3 & 4 tho.

You could make a good case for Jack Johnson.

He has got the longevity and depth.

He basically beat everybody, just often not at the right time.

It's either Lewis or Holmes for me, I could sneak in Foreman but he lacks the longevity for me to put him top 3.

    As champion, Holmes or Lewis.

I kinda want to pick Sonny Liston tbh. Wanting to bring Foreman in as well.

    I've always ranked Holmes third.

Lummox fought a murder's row of big, athletic, fast twitch heavies who could punch. And though he paid the price twice for this, he still beat every man he faced. I would say no heavy fought a deeper, more dangerous line-up than Lewis. So, he gets #3 for me.

I give my 3rd ranked to either Marciano, Dempsey or Johnson.

If I had to narrow it down to the men who have the most credible stand alone case:

    Jack Johnson
    Rocky Marciano
    George Foreman
    Larry Holmes
    Lennox Lewis

For my money you can make a slightly better case for that five, than you can for anybody else.

That’s too hard for me man, I’ll say Holmes, Lennox, Wlad or Evander? - H2H it gets tricky. I don’t know brother, I wish we could figure out a decided man boxer in the way we have for Louis and Ali being clear as either number 1 or 2.
