Taylor needs to do more to be in the top 3?

I see you ranked Inkin above him... LOL

The question is not who's the best..., it's obviously the Viking Warrior: Mikkel Kessler.

The real question is who's second ?

Right now, I think it's Lucian Bute, we are not sure about Taylor at 168 yet since Lacy is not a top10 material anymore.

inkin beat zuniga who beat oganaov when he was undefeated.

inkin has alot more wins at 168 then tyalor and an actual trinket.

past accolades don't get you a free pass to the top 3. you have to prove your self all over again. beating a one armed lacy and hugging alot does not do that . but a win is a win and it was a good start so at #5 he is mundine hasn't done **** and is rumored to be moving down to 160 so taylor is #5:good

What weight did he fight Pavlik at? 166?

He looked good in that fight... that was up for grabs until the last two rounds.

I like Taylor, and think a fight between him and Kessler would be good.

    Pavlik-Taylor II was at 166.

Bute is the #2 by default right now although he's definitely slipping a bit and Taylor is certainly coming upwards. I expect the two of them to compete for that spot until they fight.

Oganov? Oganov was undefeated because he was fighting bums, just like Zuniga. Inkin's "trinket" is a worthless piece of paper.

Bute struggled against Andrade. Taylor looked equisite against Lacy. It's a what have you done for me now division especially with so many sharks inside of it. Bute is still #2 but Taylor's win over Lacy catapaults him upwards (combined with a solid losing effort against Pavlik at 166).

Hopefully that Bute-Taylor fight goes down so we can get some sort of almost kind of definitive #2 status.

Wrong.Bute dominated Andrade, cuz he was floored in the last second doesn't mean he struggled,he lost 2 rounds in that fight,3 tops.Taylor looked good in fron of a limited opposition,Lacy is done like said before the fight, and let's not forget that Lacy wasn't credited with his KD in the 5th which might have turned the tide.Taylor still does the same old mistakes like always. He ain't gonna be the man at 68 anyhow.

I think Bute would have K.O. Lacy and Andrade stop Taylor...in fights that will not be made...

Dude stop looking at this as a Bute fanatic. TWICE in the middle rounds he was hurt....and Andrade definitely had him puzzled by always coming forward and pressuring him. Did Bute win the majority of the rounds? Certainly...but Andrade hurt him more than once outside of the 12th round. Stop looking at it from a one person perspective.

As for 'not being the man at 168' well nobody is other than Kessler so that's a pretty dead argument.

Only time he was buzzed seriously outside the 12th was the 5th,only rounds he lost.Off course he was disturbed by Andrade's pressure cuz he doesn't like pressure.

Andrade had him hurt in another round (8th? 9th?) one of those two rounds. He won the fight obviously but let's not act like it was a 12-0 shut out where Bute was never touched up.

We'll see what'll happen when the two fight. It'd be a great great fight between the two of em.
