Errol Spence - Just a standard good fighter certainly isn't no top 5 p4per like some americans laughably claim. Nothing special at all.

Weight bully who's only reigned in one division. Struggled with Brook and Ugas, and Porter in a split decision.

Look at the way Crawford handled Porter compared to Spence's life and death fight with him that he arguably lost.

If he fights Crawford you'll see how stupidly overrated he is. And I'd fancy the young lions Stanionis and Ennis to beat him too

You’re illustrating my point. It’s a bunch of numbers. Numbers don’t get you pfp 1 status. Ottke, Hill, and Dariusz had numbers too and nobody said they were pfp number 1.

Frampton was a midget, not a big and powerful 126.

It's really hard to say who's most overrated. Comparing today's fighters amongst their contemporaries is cool, but comparisons with past ATGs is not fair. The greats of the past generally had opposition that caused them to assert their greatness, thus we know how great they were.

There are certain types of fans that value statistics above opponent quality, and while I can appreciate geeking out over stats just like the next guy, ultimately they don't mean much if the opponents are sub-par. This is why I laugh when people criticize the amount of losses some of the old greats accumulated and then praise the modern shiny unblemished records.

The most overrated fighter was Josh Taylor, but the Catterall fight has woken a lot of people up.

So now I would have to say Terence Crawford. He is skilled but he’s done it against lower-level opposition / shot to pieces opposition, and been dropped by the likes of Mean Machine. He isn’t the P4P great so many people say he is.

I always thought I'd last about 20 seconds against a professional boxer before getting KO'd then I saw Taylor "fight" Catterall.

But now, I'd love to fight that version of Taylor.

No Connor Benn on the list so I will go with Spence who is a weight bully and is imo over rated for reasons already mentioned. Be interesting to how fighters like Spence would fair and what division they’d be in if the weigh in was still on the morning of the fight .

    Hernandez
    Rodriguez
    Kono
    Narvaez
    McDonnell
    Moloney
    Payano

If you don't think this is a great resume you know nothing about the lower divisions.

I often see people addressing Crawford as the P4P king or P4P #1 fighter in the world when interviewing him. He has a real sense of entitlement and chip on his shoulder when it comes to his P4P status and he has thrown his toys out of the pram before or takes offence if you dare to question it and disagree with him being #1. He's been doing this for a long time.

“I actually know I’m No. 1. There are no ifs, ands or buts about it. I've been No. 1 for years in my eyes. When you ask any diehard boxing fan, they'll say Terence Crawford is No. 1,” Crawford told Showtime Boxing podcast hosts Eric Raskin and Kieran Mulvaney.

But not once do I recall ever seeing anyone addressing Usyk as the P4P king or the P4P #1 when interviewing him.

FTR, I think Terry is an excellent fighter but he just ain't #1. His resume is very weak to say the least

No need to get all ad hominem.

I do know about the lower divisions. I know that the best guys down there since 2013 have been Roman Gonzalez, Estrada, Ioka, Nietes, Bam, Sor, and Yamanaka. Tete and Cuadras were half decent too.

You know what else? Inoue didn’t fight a single one of them.

You’re seriously digging up Narvaez who got beaten to a pulp by Donaire. That how weak his resume is.
