    Rumor is that Maskaev will be the mandatory, but nothing is set in stone.

    He technically has to fight Oleg Maskaev at some point as Maskaev is the mando.

    He wants to fight Arreola in LA in August. He is appealing the Maskaev fight which is a total waste of time and a fight nobody cares about.

    Well he can put it off for as long as he wants or forfeit the strap but I believe at this point their fates are intertwined.

    Hmm...:think I hear talk that Vitali is scared of Maskaev because of their amatuer bout, but I seriously doubt this...

    Vitali said after the Gomez fight the family was missing one belt. I think he wants to fight the winner of Valuev-Chagaev, but it's probably not gonna happen. I think his only motivation is to get the last belt, there is no good match up out there for him, none of those guys stand a chance.
