Cotto has been in many wars and the consecutive Clottey and Margorito fights could have ruined any fighter.

The prolonged beatdown by Margo was akin to what happened to Vargas against Tito. One would need to have his head examined and to stay out of any logical boxing discussions with the belief that Cotto is "prime."

And definatley stay out of the sportsbooks.

Cotto is going to get KO'd at 154.

Pac - Cotto easily. Mosley looked like an old cripple when Floyd fought him. He wasn't same guy who defeated Margarito. 4 months later he couldn't beat Sergio Mora.

Cotto was younger then Pacquiao when they fought, and still somewhere near his prime.

you know how stupid this really sounds? cintron?

yes cotto was not prime at 28 years of age and after taking a knee against margo to prevent him for taking further damage and beating a prime and tough clottey next while mosley do you think he was prime at age 39, coming in with 1.5 years of inactivity in the floyd fight and looking like **** the next fight against mora?

poll indicates PAC vs Cotto was a better win and I do agree...but BOTH are quality wins. And both will do a lot for each man's legacy.

Refer to Youtube for the fight. The bald guy was clearly the bigger guy by a mile.

Mosley had his moments round 1 and 2, and to be fair Cotto had his in round 1, but it wasn't close to the bomb Mosley landed on Floyd. Cotto is a better boxer and a good puncher himself and neither did anything to deter Pacman. Mosley was getting outboxed which was expected, but looked like he was getting winded and that was affecting him as much as Floyd was outboxing him. In the Mora fight you had the same Mosley losing gas towards the end again. Both good wins, but Pacman looked better over a better fighter.

In 2000, Shane Mosley was one of the most explosive fighters on the planet... he became the first man to convincingly defeat a prime Oscar De La Hoya.

In 2010, Shane Mosley was a tired old man... he was lucky to escape with a draw vs that guy from The Contender, a TV show that aired five years ago.

    10 years makes a difference.

Cotto was not competitive at all. After round 5, it was a slaughter. And in the first 5, he got decked twice.

    way to be competitive.

    Competitive is Oscar against Floyd.

I had Mayweather winning 8-4 against ODLH.

I have watched the fight numerous times, and I can't even work out which 8 rounds those would be.

I can see how someone would score that fight to Floyd by a point, or to Oscar by a point, or give it a draw. In no way can I understand how anyone can have a 4-point margin of victory.

i guess those who scored it that way had them tie after 8 rounds and and starting 9th where hoya was suppose to gas, they had to give it to floyd.

i only saw this fight once and it was live and i have this impression taht floyd only won because of the last few rounds. i want to see it again to check my scores but this was an awfully dragging fight and i am thinking twice to see it again.
