Kessler, like Tito, is 1 dimensional in some ways. But that one dimension is so effective against most opponents, that it makes him a great fighter. Tito is the greater fighter though.

Well at the end of the day, Hopkins was fighting a natural welterweight, whereas Calzaghe was fighting a tank of a supermiddle. So on that basis alone I have to say JC's win is more impressive

trinidads was 40-0 he hammered most of the following blocker, campas, carr, camacho, pendleton, whitaker, dlh, reid, vargas, joppy. The dlh fight was the only one of these that was very close and i truly believe tito won by 115-114. kessler's resume siaca, mundine, lucas, beyer, andrade.hopkins did not just beat trinidad he annihalated him. This was clearly far more important and far more impressive than what calzaghe did to kessler.

ill have to go with the trinidad and hopkins fight, though it wasnt trinidads weight, his resume was rank among the best, his way he defeated joppy had many convince that trinidad would be victorious... hopkins came in and put an amazing performance... some knew Trinidads one dimensional style since he fought DLH, but hopkins exposed it even further that night...

In an accomplishment basis kessler can't even compare to what Tito did. Because if you go off that we know Kessler is not even close as accomplished as tito was...Both were about 40-0 but Tito had fought lots and lots of great fighters and you can't compare anyone Kessler has fought to Tito's competition. I mean its not even ****ing close..Sure Kessler is a more formidable opponent because he is a natural at 168 and Tito was not natural at 160lbs...Either way..Hopkins beating Tito was HUGE in the sport of boxing..Much bigger/important than Calzaghe beating Kessler. Calzaghe beating Kessler was basically more impressive but it didn't mean as much as Hopkins beating Tito ...not even close.

Calzaghe won a close fight, Hopkins dominated and forced a KO.

Easily Hopkins beating Tito, the Kessler/Calzaghe fight was a 50/50 for most people, while Hopkins was maybe given a 30% chance of winning at the time.

Bhop victory over Tito for sure! Tito was favoured to win and B hop dismantled him and knocked him out.

At the time Tito was the top dog in boxing and undefeated also beat solid competition and was champion in various wieght divisions. So titos resume is better than kesslers. Plus Hopkins KOed him. I doubt Joe would have Koed Tito. So i say Hopkins-Tito. Not takin anything away from Kessler-Joe. Kessler is pretty good but hasnt beat many named fighters. not that he cant beat anyone just he hasnt fought them yet. So at this point Id rather have Titos name on Resume if i were a boxer. Hopkins Win More impressive. Damn i cant wait to c Hopkins --Calzaghe:happy
