But your kinda making an argument out of nothing. It was one left hook that rocked him am i correct ? Thats what we're talking about. The left hook that scrambled Ajs balance for the rest of the fight. Well Ruiz landed that same left hook and it didn't do much in the rematch. We're not talking about how many punches Ruiz got in. We're just talking about Joshuas punch resistance. He caught him very cleanly in the rematch and Aj took it well. Its likely because he didnt see it coming in the first fight. The fat didnt slow his hands down This content is protected Watch round 8 and 9 in these highlights and the moments Ruiz lets his hands go he looks no slower than he did against Parker and against Aj in the first fight. And i never said Aj should come in THAT light against Fury. All i was saying is that Ajs punch resistance didnt decrease. Aj should come in at exactly 240 pounds, no more. He has enough power to hurt Fury because at that weight he rocked pulev with a pull counter and he has the speed to take advantage of openings like Wallin did. He doesn't need to come in at over 245 or is gas tank will be utter trash and his speed will noticeably decrease. Fury got put down by Steve Cunningham so 240 is enough
Probably a mix of nervous energy, big clunky muscles and glass chin. Btw. Fed up seeing his puss on those Google ads.
He probably makes the cruiser limit clean, or the bridgerweight they are on about. Joshua is a 220 guy imo, he’s just not broad enough to carry what he’s carrying, the muscles have compromised him. He’s in all sorts of trouble if he fights someone capable and prime, I’m starting to think the little guys like Hunter can do something with him now
"But your kinda making an argument out of nothing." Oh the irony... You were claiming that AJ had better punch resistance at 237 than at 245, as if losing weight had improved his ability to take a punch. Then later you claimed that AJ losing weight hadn't made him better at taking a punch. You claimed that the hook in the 8th round of the rematch was a harder shot than the punch which scrambled AJ's senses and took away his legs in the first fight, then backtracked when I pointed out that no two punches are equal because of factors like the angle of impact, how aware the receiver is of the shot before it lands and how much prior damage he has taken without time to recover. How many punches Ruiz lands over a certain period of time has huge practical implications for AJ's punch resistance. The media is blocked on my end so I can't watch the video. I'll go over the comparisons in slow motion if you really want me to but my impression was that everything about Ruiz was slower when he was 30 pounds heavier than he should have been, spending more time partying than in the gym. Even at 330 pounds Ruiz would have fast hands for a heavyweight but carrying more weight than your frame naturally permits has to slow everything down. It would obviously be suicide for AJ to fight Fury at his natural weight of 215-220. I expect AJ to come in heavier than he was against Ruiz in the rematch or Pulev because he will worry about getting bullied if he's too light, I'm thinking the mid-high 240's. Cunningham put Fury down with a looping overhand right, as did Pajkic and Firtha rocked Fury with the same shot but after the Cunningham fight Fury brought him in as a sparring partner to address that weakness and he hasn't been rocked or dropped by that shot since. Fury was overconfident, weight-drained and overtrained for the Wallin fight, which led directly to Ben Davidson getting fired and Wallin, who we all thought (including Fury) would be another Tom Schwarz, was much better than virtually anyone expected and he managed to cut Fury very badly and ultimately Fury was still able to impose his will on the fast, highly durable Wallin and win the fight by a wide margin on points. Wallin was also fearless: a stark contrast to AJ's likely mentality and AJ isn't going to be facing the man who beat Cunningham or Wallin but the man who beat Wlad in Germany and Wilder in America. We can hypothesise about what AJ's ideal weight to fight Fury is but ultimately he will come in at what he decides to come in at. I really don't know what his best weight is because I don't think he has much chance anyway. We can also hypothesise about styles or how AJ could potentially hurt Fury and theoretically he certainly could, at anything between 215-254. I believe Fury has a much better overall skillset than AJ but even before boxing is a technical sport, it's a physical sport (Chisora would destroy Loma just based on his size advantages) and a mental sport (the fighter with the greater confidence and stronger will can overcome certain deficits in size and technique). So provided Fury comes in heavy and fights aggressively but intelligently for the KO, I believe he will get it. The only way to find out though will be to see them fight.
No idiot, Serge; a Gypsy Man himself, mentioned Fury's travelling heritage and culture. You have already proved you have no confidence that AJ will stop Fury because you've said that even if Fury KO's him, AJ is still the better fighter lmfao. As if his "true, noble, three-quarters Nigerian, one-quarter Irish, mixed race black African warrior genetic heritage" makes him superior as a fighter to Fury in some metaphysical sense, regardless of all facts or outcomes. But did his light brown skin even save him against that little Castizo sumo wrestler? I think not lol.
The insecurity on this boy is crazy... I know you cried when Izzy got beaten-up, manhandled and sent back down to his weight class by the big Polak but it's a very relevant point: Izzy is a "true noble Nigerian warrior" is he not? Then why did he admit he couldn't sleep the night before the fight, which caused him to lose his stamina? That doesn't sound like much of a "true Nigerian warrior spirit" to me. And neither does quarter-Irish Femi crying into a tub of ice cream in his apartment for three days after getting bodied by the Mexican blob.
All sounds valid. But remember AJ is a genetic freak, a superman for the English to idolise. And his body has adjustments for the fast twitch. His small frontal cortex actually reduces blood supply to the brain, leaving more for his muscles. That's why he was able to get a second wind against Wlad (who had to feed his brain oxygen throughout the bout).
Fury, Joyce, Usyk, Hrgovic, Hunter, a (relatively) fit Ruiz and a mentally together Wilder (not likely after what Fury did to him tbh) are all either likely beat AJ or give him huge problems, maybe even wildcards like Makhmudov, Yoka or Wallin. AJ's shoulders are actually less broad than Wilder's, though his legs are naturally thicker. AJ shouldn't stay in the game any longer after getting KO'd by Fury, imagine where his confidence will be after that? In fairness he's done well and made a lot of money, he's already been exposed anyway and he's had a good run pretending to be a super-heavyweight in Hearn's backyard. But it's a shame he didn't pursue a career in sprinting, where his real talents lie. I suspect he could have been one of the best.
He got a second wind because he was able to take 5 rounds off without tentative grandpa Wlad delivering the coup de grace. Grandpa Pulev lacked the ability to push the pace after round 3 but fat Andy had him badly hurt and stayed on top of him. When the Gypsy King has AJ hurt or gassing, he won't give him a second to recover.
You are the idiot son. Don’t worry AJ is going to put you out of your misery soon when he puts Tyson Fury’s lights out. Then you will need to play a new song and look for a new hope.
He has already proven to be the best in boxing so I don’t think anyone thinks your opinions are valid. You clearly don’t like AJ which is your prerogative but what you are not entitled to is lies/alternative facts.
What a deluded fool you are. AJ is AJ nothing to do with Israel Adesanya. Furthermore I don’t watch or know anything about MMA which or irrelevant to boxing. All Nigerians are the same are they? Guess all Brits are the same! You know what I am done with you. You are a waste of space and waste of my time. You are going on ignore.
I don't think the best gets bodied by fat Andy and he can't claim to be the best until he defeats the Gypsy King, which is about as likely as a chihuahua mauling a Bengal tiger. AJ doesn't even claim to be the best heavyweight in the world lmfao, he's "the best version of himself"
