Mackling has been european champion, and many says he got robbed of a victory against Martinez. It's not something out of the world, but it's solid cues of his potential. Another thing is that he has a huge number of amateur fights, and he has never been knoccked down once in his career. Also, 3g has sparred with anyone, JCCjr, Canelo, Mosley, and in all the video footages hes easily controlling the ring and the fight. This must be one of the reasons he has been so much avoided by most of the middleweights. Because this is a fact that cannot be overlooked, professional boxers in the system knows well enough to throw their self respect in the trash bin adding silly excuses just to avoid him. Add to this list Cotto already. Anyway, in his very next fight he's facing a very good middleweight and the number two in the division, Daniel Geale. He didn't esitate one second to sign the contract, wich means he has few doubts.
This ggg has fought no one crap is getting old, he fought MacLaine who beat strum and got robbed and lost to a good Martinez and had him down, when he fought ggg 90% of people had him as a top 5 middleweight , ggg destroys him and mac kiln admits his the best guy his fought by far and suddenly mac kiln was only a bum and not even in the top 10
It's called signing checks that you can't cash. In fact, GGG isn't even showing up to the bank window to deposit his check and only making annual $2 deposits to his account. Over the last 4 years GGG has deposited about $10 bucks to his account but written $10M dollars worth of checks.

Literally over 90% of people on here picked Golovkin over Stevens. I imagine it wasn't much different for Maclin and Rosado. Very few people thought any of those guys stood a chance
Very few people have Macklin a chance but he was still recognised as one of the best middleweights in the world and top 5 in the division , when ggg beat him easily people on here tried to revise history and say he was a bum that wasn't even in the top 10

Some people recognize talent and ability and like to make predictions. You see it on here all the time, before most fights people predict who they think will win. Crazy I know :nut. Even had Maclin defeated Sturm he would not have been among the best in the world. Sturm has done far more and longer than Macklin and he isn't even 5th best MW. Abraham left the SMW division and went back to MW. Even Abraham is better than Macklin and Abraham definitely isn't 5th worldwide either. From the way Sergio moved around the ring at his normal pace and cadence, he definitely didn't need a wheelchair and his legs although older, were just fine. Martinez has not even been in half the wars that Cotto has, so he has far less wear and tear than Cotto. Cotto moved up to MW and did what Macklin could not. Face it fool.
