The first fight was not the same as the 3rd fight.

Roy CLEARLY won the first fight.

Tarver did nothing to pressure Jones to the ropes, Jones opted to sit there and let him throw.

Jones body attack to Tarver slowed him down as well thus letting Roy win the last two rounds/

Tarver lost 7 rounds clearly. I had him losing 8.

Tarver threw in rounds 3-5 12 power punches. In round 6 he was 2 of 22. Roy swept all those rounds on all the judges scorecards. And he clearly won round 11 and 12.

Harding beating Tarver helped Tarver in the long run.... 2000 version of Jones would of lit Tarver up the way he whipped Harding instead......

And Tarver was accusing Roy of ducking him, when all he had to do was beat Harding to get a fight with Roy. That attitude is what makes Tarver so hated... He acts as if everybody owes him something..

Very true. It helped him a lot. Opting him to face a shot Jones over a fresh Jones.

Okay ... he lost 3 fights ... Harding, Dawson, and Hopkins ... those fighters convincingly beat him without a doubt ... those other fights were just a matter of politics.

    Good point (mind reader)

116-113 Tarver IMO ... he won that fight clearly and the official score cards were ...

    114-114 bull**** but reasonable

    117-111 ridiculous

    116-112 more bull**** ...

how are you going to have the scores by that wide of a margin then have one card a ****ing tie?

Jones lost that fight by my score 116-113 and i'm not a huge fan of Tarver's bro.

I thought the first fight was a clear victory for Roy as well... It was just the shock after seeing him dominate a Heavyweight and struggle with a Light heavyweight.

Tarver brags that his big lips were not busted, I wonder how his body felt... Because he sure was wincing in pain every time Roy landed, and Roy was also able to back him up when he even looked like he might go to the body.:yep

He busted Roy up that first fight and I remember seeing Roy with a swollen eye for the first time ... and he was on the defensive alot ... Tarver was the aggressor and he was leading, controlling the pace.

    Give me a scorecard man.

There's no way Tarver won when we all know he lost the last 2 rounds and he landed a total of like 4 punches in 4 rounds. (3-6)

    Please post a scorecard.
