#1- Ruiz is not a puncher. The guy is horrible, one of the worst HW titleists of all-time. He is Feather Fisted, has no Skill, and doesn't even try to punch most of the time preferring to look like an octopus or wrestler rather than a Boxer.

#2- Read the thread, moron, it is all there. Jones did his best to avoid ALL of the best punchers throughout his entire career. You do not see Benn, Eubank, McClellan, Collins, or Michalczewski on his record, do you?

#1 A light heavyweight skipping cruiserweight moving all the way to fight a legitimate heavyweight almost immediately gives Ruiz the power advantage based on that. If you can't see how that is, lay off the KFC, get out of your pig shed and hit the gym.

#2 By just mentioning Eubank, Benn and Collins you expose yourself to being a homosexual Calzaghe fan or a straight up ******ed British boxing fan. Eubank was coming off a loss to Collins, Collins was called out and turned it down like the plague and Benn had no intention whatsoever to fight Jones. There's a reason those guys fought each other in England and never fought any American worth mentioning except for McClellan in a typical rigged British fight. Go pick up the video before RJJ fought Brannon where he was hosting an open in-ring interview and is publicly/openly asked and confirmed that Benn and Collins were BOTH offered career-high paydays that were turned down. HBO openly CONFIRMED this for scrubs like you to feast on. I don't think there's anyone that knows who these guys are except for British fans yet all British fans miraculously know RJJ, Toney and Hopkins. Ever wondered why?, nuthead.

Ruiz is Feather Fisted and he sucks. The guy does not have ANY power and Jones cherrypicked him for that reason. He wanted one more trinket belt to go in his collection and just like he did at every other weight he jumped to, he picked the worst, weakest hitting guy he could find to grab it. Really, Ruiz has been handled by two blown-up MWs and a blown-up CW, fighting him and beating him means **** in the scheme of things. Also, that fight was an absolute disgrace, Jones barely broke the double digits for punch stats in some rounds.

Secondly, I am most definitely not British and not even a Calzaghe fan. You are outing yourself as someone who was not old enough to be a Boxing fan during Glass Jaw Jones' Prime if you honestly don't think the fans wanted to see him fight Benn, Eubank, or Collins. Read the links in this thread, Benn and Eubank both wanted the fight, Jones wanted no part of them. He was busy tuning up cabbies and off-duty police officers. Jones' career was nothing but a dog-and-pony show characterized by more skillful matchmaking than fighting. Now, I am off to get drunk.
