Why are fans of 'The Sweet Science' (Floyd/Bhop fans) slow to defend the Klitschkos?

Vitali KO'd his last opponent in the first round. His haters had this to say after that fight: "The Kilts are ruining boxing. I can't wait til they retire so we can see young fresh talent."

Because these guys have huge size advantages over most of their opponents. Advantages that would never occur in any other weight class.

    Next topic please.

If B-Hop beat Pacman, would he get credit? If Pacman beat Donaire, would he get credit? Of course not. Because of the obvious disparity in size. That is pretty much what Wlad has been doing. Fighting guys so much smaller than him it's not even funny. No, i'm talking about the supposed legit HWs, like Chambers, Ibragimov, Haye and Brock. I'm not talking about dead men walking like Rahman or Thompson.

I respect the Klits for what they do. But, if you can't see the difference between what Floyd and B-Hop do and what the Klits do, something is wrong.

So what you are saying is that there should be a Super Heavyweight division?
Or that there should be a maximum weight?
Height and reach are attributes as natural as speed and chin, would you say Ali & RJJ should have no credit because they were very gifted in terms of speed (RJJ and Ali) and chin (Ali), and that was the edge that let them beat the best with their flawed styles? :bart

So this must be where the idea that gayweather is a jabber is coming from.

He is a bicyclist, not a jabber. If you throw 30 punches in 3 minutes, that is 10 punches per minute or 1 punch per 6 seconds. Time it and it would surely look like a slow business. In 6 seconds, he is more running than throwing, therefore bicyclist.

I'm simply pointing out facts. That these guys have size advantages over their opponents that do not exist in any other weight class. And no, natural size advantage is not the same as natural talent. At least Jones always fought guys his own size. It just makes me sick to watch Wlad fight "contenders" that are 30 lbs lighter than him. It's a joke. A total joke. The fight was over even before it began. What is really the point?

Hey, Hopkins KOs Pacman. He's great isn't he? No, Floyd takes out Donaire. What a ATG huh? Umm, no.

The weight divisions in boxing were created for a reason. Fighters of similar size are grouped in a division where their power and ability to take each others punches are similar. The lighter divisions have smaller increments in between them because every pound gained in weight is a higher ratio in accordance to their own body weight compared to the higher weight classes. They stopped making divisions after heavyweight because a small heavyweight typically has enough power to KO a much bigger heavyweight. Tyson is a classic example of this. Corey Sanders was much smaller than Wlad be he took chances and KO'd him. Haye looked small against Wlad, but hurt a seven foot Valuev really bad and nearly KO'd him as well.

Tommy Hearns used his freakish height and power in the welterweight division to destroy his opponents. Did you complain?

This is all elementary boxing. You should be ashamed that I even have to explain this stuff to you.

So it's a joke that Wlad is fighting at HW and having an advantage in a class that is DESIGNED to be this way?

Logic is really not your strong suit.

    It is so glaringly obvious.

Even Floyd beating JMM is considered a joke fight by most. And that was only a 12 lb difference in natural weight class. But the "contenders" Wlad beat were about 30 lbs and 4-5 inches shorter than him. So how much credit can somone give the guy? I know it's not his fault as there just aren't too many human beings that big but in the end, it is what it is. A much larger man fighting a much smaller man.

In the end, thats what the ****ing HEAVYWEIGHT division is about. The size differences.

I don't see you hating on Lewis and everything he did?

I did not see anyone complain about size differences when Lennox Lewis was 6 feet 5 inches tall fighting shorter fighters and outweighing them by huge amounts, no call for another weight division them. Or.........when Ali fought 5 foot 10 inches fighters like Quarry, while Ali was 6 feet 3 inches tall, Ali held behind the head, used the jab and right hand, he had no left hook and did not use body punches, no complaint then.................

When Vitali stopped Solis in the very first round with a right hook to the temple the haters complained, when Vitali beat Briggs from one side of the ring to the other the complained, when Vitali stopped opponents mid-rounds, complaints, Vitali had the highest knockout ratio in boxing heavyweight history!!!!!!! Yet, they complain, it's called "SOUR GRAPES"!
