Why are people so stupid about boxing..?

    Boxing hasn't lost anything in terms of the competitors in the ring, we have some of the most exciting talent available in boxing today.

    What it has lost is the level nature of it's fan base. Fan's all seem to be out of the WWE school and want to hate on everyone for giving a "shoddy" performance.

    Take Wlad Klitschko, knocks out a mandatory challenger, a guy who had never been knocked out before in a fight that while sloppy, was still dominating

    And suddenly he's a bum?

    **** me, get over yourselves. Either be a fan or **** off.

    Wlad is not a bum, but one dimensional and robotic. NOBODY likes a stiff ass robot. People like swagger and some type of finesse. That is all.

    Nah, we get this every single time we see a fight.

    Kelly Pavlik vs Lockett?
    Joe Calzaghe vs Bernard Hopkins?
    Arthur Abraham vs Miranda?

    Every single fight "Oh he's a bum"

    Doesn't matter who the fighter is, it's the fan that's ****ed up.

    I believe the moderators should get tough on this bull****.

    It's one thing to be critical about a performance and state actual fact, it's another just to plain out be a ****ing bum about a fighter.

    If this was my forum, I'd ban those types of posters.

    I agree with you, when people are winning we sometimes overate them but after one loss they don't become a really bad fighter, most fighters become better after losing. its just the way things are, i think on this forum there are some fans who know very little about the sport and they want to act as if they know alot by slating a fighter after they lose, when actually they just sound stuped.

    everyone likes to say UFC is killing boxing. i disagree. boxing will always have a large group of followers. the DLH mayweather fight broke PPV records. if we were a dying sport that would not have happened

    There's no telling what people's motivation is for it but yea, the mods should put a stop to it. Boxing fans look stupid everytime they do that.
