Why are people still saying solis was ko'd!!!

    Even the WBC realizes Solis won the event, but they only go this far because they don't want to shock the minds of too many boxing fans.

    Either way vitali did not ko him which is what I had a problem with. Even a tko is a more appropriate ruling.

    Winner. Not a Klit fan, but the technicalities stipulate knockdown followed by stoppage. KO or TKO is academic.

    Your thread still sucks and you can't read properly either.

    The article on the front page says that the fight is ruled a TKO because a headbutt or some similar accident didn't cause the stoppage. Therefore it can't be ruled a No Contest or Technical Draw. It's a TKO, the punch still caused the knockdown, Solis hurt himself on his way down to the canvas. They're saying he couldn't continue due to the knee injury though, not because of the shot to the head.

    The only person who's opinion should mean more than the WBC, Solis, Vitali or yourself is the ref, because he was right there & he looked in Solis' eyes. If he says that Solis couldn't continue due to the leg I'd go with his opinion over just about anyone else's.

    However, to me it looked like both of Solis' legs were rubber when he tried to get up & I'd didn't see him wincing in pain like you would be if your tore your knee up.

    Funny that.I'm sure the reason he went down was because he'd been hit with a punch,and on the way down he tore the ligaments in his right knee.
