Why are so many ppl picking Martinez over Cotto?

I got Martinez on this one. Bigger, stronger, faster, and a good boxer. It might be difficult for him for a few rounds at first but once he figures out Cotto will take the UD or TKO in the second half of the fight.

Cotto has not beaten anyone of note for years now aside from a cyclops Margarito. In my opinion Cotto knows he is on his way out and will try to cash in with as many big names as he can. First Martinez, and if it doesn't end too badly for him then will most likely go with Canelo. I don't think he went after Canelo first because he could get seriously damaged in it so he is trying to maximize his profits.

 

I dont see nothing easy about fighting Cotto. The guy is a machine! is he in his prime...NO!! Is Martinez in his prime...NO!! To many factors to say it will be easy for Martinez let alone a win. Dude coming off surgery, looked like crap and got worked his last fight and has been down 4 of his last 5 fights. I see no reason why Cotto cant drop him either.

Should Martinez be a favorite...Yeah. Cotto moving up in weight. but to think because Martinez is big is gonna get him the win your nuts! Chavez jr should of beat the crap out Martinez because he was way bigger right?? Martinez is bigger but not by much. skiils pay the bills and Cotto has got more skill. to much body work, Cotto by KO! :bbb:bbb
