If you or I do a **** job at our jobs, we get fired. How are these ***gots still around to judge fights if they are this bad? Where is the accountability.
It must be **** for younger fans coming into the game,but as you get older you become poisoned by years of seeing it over and over again. You end up just becoming resigned to it I'm afraid.
The judges work for the state boxing commissions, which are government agencies. Judging by the lines at the DMV and court, performance isn't really graded in the public sector.

They are funded with tax dollars, right? In California the commission is taxpayer funded. Government, due to the lack of accountability, is just as likely to be corrupt as any other entity.
being taxpayer funded is not the basis for calling something a government agency. a government agency is an agency that exists within or as a part of the federal system. athletic commisions do not fit that definition at all. if they did, corruption in boxing would be called into question by government committees all the time. it's a governing body my man.
So it all points to the culprit being nevada state boxing commission. They put these **** heads in there to judge, and theyre doing nothing about it. There is not a ****ing peep out of nevada state boxing commission. When Baseball was investigated by congress, I had a lot of contempt for congress for wasting taxpayer money for tv time. Short of government intervention, theres nothing that can be done to clean up this sport. A central governing body is just as easy to corrupt as nevada state. They can throw around millions and millions of dollars to get what they want. And those millions are yours and mine that we spend on these stupid ****ing events.
At least we agree that if you follow the money, it comes from the government. The government then has the right to investigate the use of its funds, whether used internally or given to a board, commission, or contractor. That said, this is an example of the government either tacitly allowing corruption, or, at worst, sanctioning it.
That's because pro sports are not held accountable. Pro sports are entertainment and they are within their rights to manipulate outcomes of matches to maximize their revenue. It's not illegal, other wise not only boxing or other pro sports would of been exposed long time ago. Everyone benefits from a piece of the pie. Bosses get their $$$ and the sheep get their entertainment.
