That is one trait I will always say that makes Calzaghe special other than his accomplishments inside the ring. Coming up with a unique style in a sport that has been around since the 1800s.

Not allways very pretty, but it looks a horrible style to face.

i agree completly, in england i have never seen anybody wear an american football/basketball kit, and thats because we follow proper sports and sports that the rest of the world actually enjoys too like football (soccer to yanks who think holding a ball has anything to do with the foot) and cricket etc, no other country in the whole world watches american football, basketball or the 'world series' cof american series of baseball - because theyre ****!

His style only developed after his hands gradually went, around possibly the Reid fight. Hell, by Woodhall he wasn't what he became. It's interesting, did he become a better boxer when he lost his power? I think so with PBF (both have terrible hand damage, and not in a good way), and I think so with Calzaghe. Calzaghe mastered that style with Lacy. Shame Lacy hadn't achieved more beforehand, because what Calzaghe did that night gets understandably underestimated as a result.

Soccer and cricket are considered homosexual sports in America.

yes if only they would dress in ludicrous padding and throw an egg around a field whilst having a timeout every nano second...

if only they would roid up to the point of reverse evolution whilst gesticulating like a primate and pontificating about one another's spouses...

yes that pansy **** that the entire globe lives and breathes for, that pansy **** that has produced maradonna, george best and pele and is adored by billions..

Havent a clue, he's changed his style a couple of times, before the hand injuries he had a very good left hook, which changed to a straight left, and the Hop fight flurries. Cant think of a fighter who fights in the same style as him, American or European, i've seen him do both(Sometimes in the same fight). Must have something to do with being trained by someone not involved with Boxing, it's different but works.
