Yeah ... and? Where did I say Canelo just walks over him? It's at least a 50/50 fight for me. That's a fight that needs to be made, and I'll give Floyd props if he takes this fight.

Watch the Shane Mosley fight. Canelo took entire minutes off in more than half the rounds. So much so, that he made Shane comfortable throwing his hands. At a time when Shane was EXTREMELY gun shy. Your whole point is based off of nonsense.

Floyd beats Canelo... But I think Canelo would win 3 or 4 rounds and be much more competitive than Guerrero! Id go to the theatre again to see... I had a blast last night!

He had Shane completely dominated for the most part, he didn't need to fight a full 3 minutes of every round..

Did Cotto need to fight a full 3 minutes against Floyd to have success??

Floyd counts on guys overworking themselves and tiring themselves out. Canelo doesn't do that because he's patient and not stupid.

How is my point based off nonsense? I said that Canelo doesn't usually take 2 minutes of rounds off or throw 1 punch at a time as he did in the Trout fight. That's just a fact if you've been watching most of his fights.

Canelo beats Floyd at this point of their respective careers.

Cotto did in fact have to work more than he usually did to have as much success against Mayweather as he did. His stamina was the thing most people were impressed with that fight. You don't make much sense when you type. :verysad

In my mind, Canelo is the only active fighter 140-154 that gives Mayweather a good fight at the moment. I was facepalming the entire promotion of the Guerrero fight anytime someone said he had a chance. Who else is there? I can't think of anyone ...

Look at the rounds cotto had the most success in. Aside from round 8 he fought a pretty measured pace, boxed with Floyd. It wasn't like he swarmed him ricky hatton style. Canelo doesnt need to throw 100 punches a round. The pace he fights at usually is fine and he's smart enough to adapt a proper gameplan.

Mosley was shot to **** when Floyd and pacquiao fought him too, and Canelo landed more then either of them.

The more I watch Canelo the more I want to see this fight. He's highly, highly skilled. Super patient, high IQ, counter punches like an elite fighter, very sharp / stiff jab, beautiful combinations, brutal body punching. And he keeps getting better and better. Not only that the size and power differential is a huge question mark in this fight. It'll be a big question coming in if Floyd can hurt him and make him respect him, and how Floyd deals with his power. If Canelo can walk through him, that's a wrap for Floyd.

If this fight doesn't happen in September, I'm guessing Canelo - Cotto will happen -- and when he demolishes him people are gonna be singing a different tune.
