Why can't Bakhodir Jalolov get a meaningful pro heavyweight fight?

    He says he wants to face the best, and to fight for a pro world title.

    But he lacks a promoter who will get him there. He should be promoted by Turki instead of Top Rank.

    He says he wants to fight the best... But there's absolutely no way he's fought the best of who'd be willing to fight him.

    He hasn't earned a shot at a title (or even at a contender without a belt) yet.

    It's not all about the promoters, it's more about making the necessary fights to climb the ladder... If he's daydreaming about title bouts when he's not really earned them yet then he's going to fall into the Hrgovic trap of sitting on his ass stagnating and waiting for the world to come to him - that's not a recipe for success.

    Getting onto one of Turki's Saudi cards somewhere would be a great start for him, boost exposure, etc... but it'd probably be against the kind of opponent he's earned (journeymen) rather than the big names he might feel he deserves (and doesn't).
