Nope. Any time you lose speed you will also lose power. When you age your stamina also decreases, meaning you will also lose power if you gas out. The loss in power isn't as dramatic as the other traits, but it may mean the difference between seriously rocking someone and just lightly buzzing them.

He didn't KO Jacobs, Canelo or Derev. He dropped two of them and between the 3 of them they've all been KO'd in total 1 time. He's also gotten older, therefore slower, therefore his shots are easier to see coming. He's still managed to ice lower quality guys.

He actually said he felt his power had gone a bit prior to this fight, which is a rare admittance from a fighter.

Also how is this guy still so bad at English? It's shocking. I mean El Chicano by the way.

GGG's power seems to be lacking because he's facing better comp it happens. Anyone can look like the second coming feasting on no hopers like Wade Jr Rolls and Rosado.

At least GGG is doing VADA testing. Alvarez withdrew from VADA before Kova fight

Yes this.Golovkins thing was never speed or imo one punch KO power but rather his timing was impeccable.
Just a fact of life in all things, past 35 the reflexes go.Ive always said about Golovkin that mentally he didn’t know how to lose?some would say he still hasn’t lost but in his heart he knows Canelo showed him he’s now beatable.

I think before Canelo he was feeling less confident even. I honestly don't think hes been in love with the sport for years now. I thoroughly believe in the early days when he used to say " I just want to fight" that he meant it but politics messed him around a bit. GGG has been past it for yrs, just the great attributes he had have kept him going and at the top, I feel like that a bit with Kovalev

He had a great blend, timing, average speed, and heavy hands, he punched fast enough to disguise shots prime, no jones jnr in speed but he never appeared slow to me..He looks like hes pushing his shots at times but that's just how slow hes become..Id like to see him retire and remember him as one of the most dominant middleweight champions ever
