Are you nuts??? Thats was not rematch. Margarito lost his title against Williams and without a tittle his career was going down the hill. And somehow, Cintron had a tittle belt. Cintron was really stupid when he accepted that fight.

So what's your point if you have one? Read the seminal post if you haven't yet. The idea is not to discredit Margarito but to expose the double standards. Mayweather beats Baldo and he's called a fraud. Margo beats Cintron and he's called the great aztec warrior for it.

I don't know the point of this thread. I didn't create it and was just answering the question made by the author.

If Mayweather fights Cotto, I would not mind seeing a Mayweather-Hatton rematch in the future (or Mayweather against anybody, but the Cotto fight should be done first).

Margarito-Cintron was indeed an elimination bout. But also Arum's chance to make Margarito a beltholder and, therefore, to promote a Margarito-Cotto bout (Arum wants this bout since before Margarito lost to Williams, he is a greedy mofo).

 

Ask he Brits, they'll fill you in.
