On the face of it, the height of ignorance, Ronnie spoke to him but Jr just ignored him during the post fight interview. Rudeness personified for no apparent reason. He plummeted in my estimation after that
did you see fw and fw laughing when eubank knockt the lad out with is dad should not been in the same ring a joke
What seems to get missed by the slow-witted is that Eubank Sr made tens of millions from boxing by being what (he calls) 'a showman'. I expect that is tens of millions more than, say, Steve Collins. Jr is doing things just right if the plan is to make a lot of money. I'm always a bit perplexed why it bothers people so much anyway - doesn't him twatting about want to make you want to watch him fight more? Be honest with yourself. It's a 'yes', right? Never seen a novice pick up more crap. First he was an out-and-out fraud. Then he had no skills. Then he had skills but no punch. Now he can punch (people are still catching up with this break from received wisdom). That now only leaves general whining and bitching about the 'quality of his opposition', with lots of unreasonable comments aimed at a fighter with a dozen or so fights. Hey ho.
I've never knocked his ability, his power, his commitment or his opponents.. As it happens I've got high hopes for him. BUT, I've noticed that more and more he's aping his father. Chris Eubank snr forged a profile for himself as an arrogant, well-spoken and clever chap. Junior will never be more than a copy unless he forges his own path. And that's my only problem with him.
was very surprised to see eubank senior laughing and all smiles when that kid was spark out on the floor and the medical time were in the ring checking him out, you would think he would know more than anyone else wot a punch can do to someone, not surprised to see FW and his son laughing tho
true but id expect to see another 5 of these easily, I like him tho, very exciting boxer to watch, cant see him being in any meaningfull fights until easily next summer, probly later
The european middleweight strap is vacant so I wouldn't be surprised to see him in with someone fairly unheralded for that soon.
has anyone ever thought that maybe his dads perso has rubbed off on him and thats why he often acts so similar? eithe way, who cares? if he does the business in the ring it dont matter
