Hattons style is all too wrong for Veterans,,,,,,his style is less effective against fighters with a pulse (young guys URANGO Collazo etc)

He won both those fights and Urango was nearly a shutout.

KT was a great fighter but he was never as good as Floyd. That is the simple anwser.

The more indept answer is Floyd can fight anyway, he can fight coming foward or going backward, on the inside or outside. KT was only could with space. If a fighter got right in KT chest he was lost. Hatton clearly watched the fight between KT and Vince Phillips and used that as his mold to beat KT. Hatton for what ever reason thought that same style would work against Floyd. Thing is it wasnt just that shot that got Hatton, Floyd landed that same shot over and over and over again. And he hurt Hatton several times in that fight.

For starters Floyds power is underrated. Also When Hatton fought Tzyu he managed to stay on the inside of Tzyus power which comes at the end of his punch on when his arm is extended. Also floyd caught him with a perfectly timed shot that Ricky didn't see coming.

1 - SPEED - hattons foil is speed... hes being hit before he knows it
2 - ACCURACY - getting hit right on the button before he knows it lol
3 - Floyds power is underated
4 - I think hattons lifestyle has tooken his toll on him a bit since the kostya fight
5 - hatton met zoos punches by smothering... it took the bite off of zoos punches

Because Zoo relies on distance to get his punches off and can't fight off his back foot and has poor lateral movement. Hatton smotherd Zoo and made his power ineffective. PBF doesn't need that type of distance and he could still outmanuever Hatton to get his power shots off. Also PBF hits you with punches you don't see which also hurt more.

Why Collazo almost had him out in the 12 and KT couldn't hurt him that bad?

That pretty much sums it up. I could only add that Hatton probably felt more relaxed fighting in his backyard in Menchester.

That's a pretty good point. One extremely for and one against.
