I think he’s made a mistake changing trainer. If you put on a performance like that after 3 years out against one of the elite guys in the division then you don’t change it in my opinion. You continue working together and refine that performance into an even better one. It’s seems like he’s been pressured by his family into getting rid of him but he should have done what he thought was best. I just think it’s stupidity going for a KO against Wilder. Ben Davidson mentioned on that analysis he did on BT the other day that a Wilder knocks most people out off the back foot. He wants Fury to go for him like Ortiz did.
Does Tyson Fury even need a trainer, the guy is blessed with so much natural talent and ring iq, he can practically strategize opponents himself and even trainer and spar himself. Instead of a trainer, he needs a motivator, manager and a cutman, he can figure out what to do against opponents in the ring all by himself.
