I love the cut theory that is thrown up about Kats within this general forum.

Obviously being ozzie i have seen most(all but 2)katsidis fights and other then the amognst(spelling) he hasnt had problems with his skin.

Yes he takes heaps of shots but no to skin problems.

Probably a good chance that most posters on here have only seen Kats fight twice(Earl,Amongst) and maybe seen abit of him on youtube or maybe done the whole check ones stats on boxrec and talk as if you have followed his whole career.

All in all Guzman might possibly beat kats if they were ever to face eachother(im a kats fan but would have guzman 60-40 chance of winning). But to say Guzman would ruin Katsidis through a brutal beating is utter nonsense.Guzman would try to avoid a slugfest through poping the jab and then stepping out of harms way onto a 12round decision.

But guzman doesnt seem to want to face the great Katsidis anytime soon so we may all have to die wondering.

Guzman went toe to toe with Barrios, who's a lot more dangerous than Katsidis. There is no way Katsidis would have any chance of beating Guzman. "Guzman would try to avoid a slugfest through poping the jab and then stepping out of harms way onto a 12round decision." Yeah.. the great Katsidis is all of a sudden Juan Diaz.. Katsidis would be owned in every single way, Guzman wouldn't need to avoid toe to toe battles with him.

Yeah no point in arguing with me . . . because you can't argue with facts. All you have are the hallucinations in your head. Your HYPING is out of proportion. :yep

Brutalize??? When did Guzman figure out in a brutal fight? Brutal as equated to being bloody.

Just answer that simple question. :think

I was sad about this fight not coming off too. :(

Still would like to see it, as it would be lots of fun, even though I'm about 1,000% sure Guzman would win.

Did you consider Calzaghe-Lacy to be a brutal fight?

Nah . . . because that's one way beating. Lacy was brutalized but it's not a brutal fight.

The Marquez/ Vasquez II is what I can really call a brutal fight or the Katsidis/Amonsot. A fight where both fighters are exchanging bombs which are connecting and both are bloodied

I don't think Guzman is scared of Katsidis he would defintley outbox for him for a UD, remember he was also overweight against Soto. Guzman has underrated power, I remeber watching him fight against Barrios, he looked so much bigger than Barrios. I think Guzman fits as a lightweight, he defintley has the skills to compete in lightweight, but I don't know, he's just not fighting enough.
