If you want to live in FantasyLand and believe both fights were on the up and up and you need to desperately protect some strange sense of boxing purity or Ali's legacy, feel free to do so. I'm always amused though at folks that run up and down a thread furiously protecting their beliefs like somebody just challenged their wife's purity or something.

Reasonable people can see a bad acting job. You need to believe otherwise, fine. Nobody is coming to your house and making you believe differently at gunpoint.

 

Thats not definitive, it’s only saying they learned Sonny was approached. Which means nothing. There was no wire tap, no photograph and no confession by anyone involved. Who profited from it?
