Why did Lucian Bute lose to Carl Froch?

    Bute's Jetlag and the leg infection definitely helped Froch more than Lucian.

    Is ironic that he had that bad foot infection just before.

    He didn't make excuses though. But just because no excuse is made does not mean there wasn't one.

    Personally, I think Bute will do much better in the rematch.

    Just fought a dumb fight, bad strategy

    i feel he fought Froch all wrong and helped Froch immensely by fighting Froch's fight and falling in Froch's traps

    I also think Carl was really motivated by the home crowd and Bute just looked uncomfortable, he looked dry in his ring walk

    i dont know he just seemed to freeze

    i think he can do much better in a rematch, i wont go as far as to say win though ive seen fighters take a way worse beating and win the rematch

    Froch was good and driven for victory.

    The question you should've asked is why did he lose in that manner.
