Why did Roy Jones Jr slow down in only a year?

    If Roy could outlast the first 3 rounds of savagery, I would pick Roy...
    Corrie would have come right at him though, I doubt Roy lasts.. That would have been a bad fight for Roy.

    He destroyed his body's equilibrium like others have suggested. At that age especially, you are not coming back.

    Anyone remember when Chris Byrd did the same thing and moved back down to LH?
    WOW...when will these Fighters learn from History.

    How much experience did Roy even had with southpaws?
    But yes, if Corrie would gas (Roy lasting 3-4 rounds) it is RJJ who will win.

    Roy didn't really like fighting southpaws... But he did fight several throughout his career.

    in an 8 fight stretch in roy's title reign at 175, he fought 7 southpaws and overall he defeated 10 southpaws in title fights. the sanders fight would have been intriguing for the first few rounds. if sanders doesn't land early, he turns into an out of shape golfer later in the fight and has no chance.
