Why dedicate your life to boxing, box as an amateur for years... to just quit and become a trainer:huh ?
could be a lot of reasons, 1 he didn't think he could achieve what he would want top achieve 2 he didn't have the hunger 3 he didn't enjoy the fighting aspect 4 may have had an injury 5 didn't want to be in the position that cej is with his dad lol 6 maybe he just wasn't that good? could almost be any reason but would be interesting to hear why.
seems to of found his feet as a trainer rather well... Unlike many in the sport,he is known of his own back rather than as ' Barry's son' credit where it is due. seems to be very promising future ahead of him.
I'd rather be the chairman or the manager/trainer or something.. the players get all the limelight.. but all the sacrifice..

Heard an interview with Barry a few years ago saying he stopped enjoying it due to the weight making. Seems to be a wise decision, holding his own as a trainer
