Why did the ref stop the fight

    He answered yeah yeah instead of yes and remained laying on the rope as if they where is couch. Micheal Griffin saved him some embarrassent.

    It was a genius stoppage. Took some courage but was absolutely the right call.

    The ref saved him. He should have lifted his arms off the ropes and showed he was ready to defend himself. His own fault. Trying to make the most of his preferential treatment by resting in the corner, they wouldn't have allowed Ruiz Jr to do that
