Nicer people  yeah that's why I hated Mike Tyson, he was always such a meany. But anyway I hate the three of them but willing to forgive all of them if they step in the ring and fight each other. I can't blame Haye for milking the Harrison fight for the obvious money/easy fight it would be and I won't lie...I enjoyed Audley being shown up, I can understand he had to fight his mandatory Ruiz and I can even understand him fighting Valuev for the WBA title before the brothers to get leverage with them as you can't deny there contracts seem very weighted in there favour.

What I can't forgive is if one of the two brothers doesn't fight Haye, just as my image of Roy Jones and Joe Calzaghe are tainted for avoiding each other in there prime, Haye and Klitschko will be tainted in my eyes if they don't fight...but just like Joe, none of the three give a **** what me you or other boxing fans think when they're sitting on a mountain of cash.

  4. If he makes the fight then i'll get behind him and look forward to it, all will be forgiven. Currently I'm pissed off with all the bull****, just get it sorted. From my point of view Haye is the one who is being more difficult.

Don't get me wrong, if he fights a brother I'll back him 100% because I'm English and I will support my countrymen because I'm that much of an idiot if truth be told.

But until all the excuses, lies, and plain bull**** stops, he won't be getting my £14.99, it's ad simple as that. Will he care that he doesn't have my money? Not a chance, his other millions will cover it. But at least I'll no that I haven't been taken for a **** like the general public.

I like Haye - sure, I want to see him fight a Klitschko. But, I'm not going to throw my toys ouf of the pram when it doesn't happen again and again and again. I'm a realist and I make no apologies for that.
I think that I have been critical of SKY's line-up...it's too busy, often messy, totally lacks journalistic clout, looks scared, lacks humour...I've said all these things on here, on air, in front of camera and in emails to the men with power at the place. Why do you think I'm on not on SKY? Use your brain.
In the TV/paper/radio real world (ie not online) we have to deal with what we have and Haye ticks those boxes. Not a criticism, just a fact.

    Adios.

    He's indefensible.

You can't spout as much BS as he has over the past three years and not expect the **** to start flying when you use every possible excuse to avoid the fights that you supposedly moved up in order to get.

Made a complete and utter arse of himself here. Povetkin was a bum when Wlad was set to face him back in the day, now he's probably past his best he's the ideal opponent for David.

As for Haye ticking all the boxes, maybe writers ought to delve a bit further into our domestic ranks and give others the coverage they deserve. Froch, Burns, DeGale etc etc.

Get real, DeGale is getting massive coverage considering how many fights he has had. Burns has decided to fight two crap fighters since winning the title and Froch is set to get the Sky hype like he rightly deserves. A heavyweight champion, especially a British one will always garner interest even if he is involved in the same crap Pac - Mayweather are.

Though both K2 and Haye are indefensible if they don't fight, I agree with you on that much at least.

And there's us thinking they didn't actually like you big man

I understand what your saying Buncey. Perhaps us on the net are a bit too romantic for our own good. We believed him when he said he was the savour of the HW division, and that he would clean them out. That's why we got behind him in the Valuev fight, and that's why we defended him when the Klit fight fell through the first time.

I believe that people are genuinely pissed at him because we believe that he could have beat a Klit, and gone down in history as a true great heavyweight. But now we are left with a 'what if' senario. His legacy will suffer badly. And that's a shame as he is a very good fighter.

The writers on national papers delve...it's the men in charge at the papers...in the last ten days I've been at the Khan conference, the Cleverly conference and the Fury conference and NOBODY from any website was at all three...NOBODY from any paper was at all three...and, here's the punchline... I couldn't get a word in The Independent about all three! Mick Costello of BBC Five live was, like me, at all three...we were the only repeat offenders!
Where were the great pioneers from the internet at that trio of conferences? They were not there, they were busy slagging off Matthew Hatton and David Haye from their bedrooms...you get my point? It's easy for people on the internet to say...the press write bull**** about bull****...Where's the online competition?

    Adios.

Pay for me to go and tell Matthew Hatton I hate him and I will do :) And believe me if I could afford to be at even one of them I would be.

Haye is flawed but he's still talented & by far the most exciting HW around.

I'm as pissed off as everyone else about his lack of fights at HW but I retain the slim hope he fights a credible opponent (maybe even 2) & puts in a career-defining performance.

Buncey has to keep David sweet, and continue to promote this 'David Haye - The British Heavyweight Hero' type stuff. But like the rest of us hardcore fans who have followed the situation carefully, he knows what a farce David has been these past 2/3 years.

I have the exact same experience. But after spending 5-10 minutes dangling off his nut-sack, they do find it pretty difficult to swallow the truth once I tell them.

If everybody was a realist nothing would ever improve. For things to improve and get better the world needs the optimists, the dreamers, the people who stretch what is possible. The boxing world needs champions like Muhammad Ali, not 'champions' like David Haye. The boxing world needs proper journalists who ask the difficult questions, not those who are content with the easy answers. This is exactly what I said about the BBC London post-fight coverage of Haye-Harrison:

    http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?p=8236486#post8236486

Realists see problems as impossible hurdles and they don't even try to improve things. Optimists see problems as opportunities to improve the world. If you aren't part of the solution, but instead choose to say that there cannot be a solution -- you are part of the problem.

But hey, don't listen to my soppy crap -- you are a realist. You don't want to dream. You don't want to challenge yourself. You don't want to put in the extra effort that is required to make positive changes in the world. Fair enough -- that's your choice.

But -- never forget -- nobody ever built a statue to a realist.
