Why do Bunce, Boxing New and Boxing Monthly continue to defend Haye

I'd prefer him talk to Beeston, don't agree with his views at all but they way he puts it always makes me laugh.

 

Where did Haye finish in the SPOTY votes? Do the public still like him after Harrison rip off. The **** fight, the bet on the 3rd round, everyone felt ripped off. And then no Klitscko.

When i listen to talksort and they mention Haye, its the same line my mates say "whens he fighting Klitscko" "he needs to fight a Klitscko"

Chagaev/Povetkin will flop as a PPV. It wont sell out the 02. Hopefully the 2/3 hardcore fans will pay to watch Froch though

 

The irony is that if Buncey really went for Haye in an interview and kept fighting until he got past all of Haye's bull**** it would be the greatest interview he has ever conducted.

Haye would have to admit he was wrong to fight Audley Harrison and that he ripped off his fans, fans for whom he clearly has disdain.

Haye would have to admit he is not 'heavyweight champion' in any meaningful sense.

Haye would have to admit that he has wasted the prime of his career chasing money not glory and that his legacy is in jeopardy.

Imagine if Bunce managed to get Haye to admit these truths. It would be the biggest scoop of the year. Bunce would get more listeners than ever. Everybody would be talking about Steve Bunce's incredible interview with David Haye. Steve Bunce would be acclaimed as a great journalist and boxing man.

On Ringside last night it was clear Haye was looking for issues with Wlad fight - Awkward when Smith was pressing him on things (in between Johnny Nelsons tongue being removed from his arse)
