Brittards: The Klitschkos only collected all belts in the division because they paid off the judges, referees and fighters. Klitschkos only win by clinching their opponents the **** out. :rofl :rofl :rofl Brittardistan - Where it's cool to be a tool
:deal Anyone who trashtalks is all of a sudden bad for society, and is a POS whoo doesn't "deserve" paydays, and who should "get back in line" blah blah blah... Haye destroyed a guy who many felt like was too, big, strong, and iron-chinned for him to even hurt, much less stop. Same guy who everyone said he should have to fight before getting a shot at Vitali. Now what?
Yeah, I agree. The tactics Wlad uses means that the only chance his opponent has is to beat him at range. That's not fair at all. In-fighting is part of the game and seeing as Wlad is tall and has long arms, it greatly reduces his opponents chances because very few can afford to fight at range with Wlad. Before Haye/Wlad, I did an analysis on how I thought Haye could beat Wlad and I placed a lot of emphasis on Wlad's lack of inside game and Haye's short range combinations, something I still think is true. However, if the referee is going to allow holding, it removes Wlad's weakness and Haye's strength from the equation and changes the whole dynamic of the fight. Wlad's flagrant abuse of the rules meant that Haye, a much shorter man, had to fight Wlad from range. How is that fair? A referee should be impartial. I don't think anyone can seriously say that allowing Wlad to hold so excessively is being fair to both fighters.
Everytime I read one of your posts I'm reminded why I have you on ignore. In what version of reality is Wlad undisputed? I dont think you understand the term tbh
The statistics I posted put the first 24 fights (25 since you want to include the Purrity fight) into context. Address them and tell me why they're not significant. Don't duck them again. Bitching out in your own thread is embarrassing. Wlad's 25th fight was against Ross Purrity. Wlad had been a professional boxer for two years. He was stopped by Purrity. Haye's 25th fight was against John Ruiz. Haye had been a professional boxer for seven and a half years. After fighting for almost two years, he was stopped by Carl Thompson. Both men were stopped at a young age after about two years by fighters who weren't that good. Both were immature fighters, and men, after just two years in the game.
Wow this is what goes on here while Im sleeping. A brit circle jerk? How can you ******s act like Haye is the only fighter to be hated on? Esp when in his biggest fight he ran like a ***** after talking massive ****? I like Haye he's a very good fighter. Fast and hits hard as **** but he has a big mouth and on the biggest stage of his career he let down the entire boxing world by running from Wlad.
Bit of an oversimplification, but whatever works for you. Wlad wasn't exactly chasing Haye around the ring. Every time Haye tried to engage, Wlad backstepped, reset, and kept throwing the jab with no intention of trying to KO Haye (like he said he would do).
My criticism of Haye is that he fights so infrequently, yet shouts from the highest platform that he is the most relevant HW contender. His resume at HW is solid, even with Audely on it. The fact is that he destroyed Ruiz, fought a smart fight vs Valuev and took a close win and a title. His war with Barrett is also a very credible win, as is his latest decimation of Chisora. BUT.....it's a serious disrespect to guys like Adamek(Chambers, Arreola, Grant Walker) Pulev(Walker, Dimitrenko Sprott Rossy) and the other solid HWs actually fighting regularly and winning BIG fights. Hell, even Solis has better overall credentials in a similar time frame. Haye's critics would be his fans if he'd get in that ring already. But he's too busy trying to sell his brand outside the circle. If he got into the ring 3X yr and beat solid guys like Banks,Pala, Rossy, Welliver or even throw in a journeyman here and there like Gavern, Bydenko, Bahtov, Guinn.......if he'd just make some fights, he'd have more fans than critics. :good
That's what I'm saying. The referee refusing to allow inside fighting meant Haye, who is 6'2", had to fight solely on the outside against a 6'6" opponent. Is that fair? Had the referee been impartial, Haye would have been allowed to work on the inside.
Doesn't really get much hate. Yeah, the K fans hate him. Neutral Americans might have more of a mild annoyance in regards to him. While Haye can frustrate at times, I think he's better for boxing. I must disagree. Haye's plan from the onset was to counter-punch. It was mission impossible strategically. Haye is not an inside fighter and is not very comfortable on the inside (On a relative scale more so than Wlad, sure). There were numerous times Haye would bob & weave in and then sort of reset back at a range. Basically, Haye was faux rushing probably trying to draw Wlad to punch or make a mistake. He's simply uncomfortable in attacking, pressing, and leading. This was his biggest failure of the fight. I don't want to excuse the ref but when you're not really trying to get off with activity on the middle and THEN the inside then you're not really fighting the proper fight tactically. That was Haye's biggest downfall. If Haye were to tried attacking from a middle range and then follow up at a nearer range, this would make Wlad's clinching and leaning tactics much harder to employ. The thing is, Haye is not much of a combination puncher. At least not when on the attack. His footwork gets all out of whack when he loads up to punch which is why he's not much of a combo puncher.
