So you think its fine that challengers fight Canelo knowing that they can NEVER get a decision win against him regardless what happens in the fight!!?? I sure as hell dont & neither does any unbiased boxing fan. Canelo knows in his heart he lost twice to GGG & to Lara . Trout deserved at the least a draw too.

    Ok, well
you can down play scorecards all you want and lump all close fights in the same category. Funny how you're being critical of GGG not destroying CA, when it hasn't nothing to do with the topic at hand. But just like you have selective outrage, you too are entitled to your own bias. So you have to let people be to each their own.

Bro, to tell you the truth It's obvious, most fans couldn't care less about corruption in boxing, as long as their guy benefits from it.

There is no such prestige in boxing anymore, that went away with the emergence of pay per view, and money hungry fighters and promoters. It used to be great, when the fights were shown over the air waves like, The Gillette Friday Night Fights, Wide World Of Sports, CBS Sports Spectacular, and Boxing From The Forum. Fighters had more pride, and prestige to show their talent. Sure, there are good fighters today, but everything costs money to watch, it's like having pay rest rooms all over again. The money hungry ones benefit from fan's needs or wants.

If he’s protected, he wouldn’t be taking the risks he already took and wouldn’t be paid as highly as he’s being paid either. The Boxing community wouldn’t pay a penny for any of his fights if he wasn’t worth it either.

What truly baffled me are people like you. You insult on someone like Alvarez who gladly moved down in weight to fight Mayweather, moved up to fight Cotto and Golovkin x2 and is now moving up two weight divisions to fight Kovalev. Yet, you will shamelessly and aimlessly praise someone like Golovkin who never ever took risks he wasn’t expected to win and never will either.

GGG never had the blatant corruption behind him like canelo and floyd had. both Bob Bennett &THE NSAC plus vegas officials covering their asses to ensure they couldnt lose $$$$$$$$$$ is the reason for their success

They definitely have had favourable cards, suspicious drug scandals and arguably both should have losses. But at least they paid their dues when it came to taking on tough opponents.

GGG's got a resume full of guys coming up from one division below, and default imaginary wins to many of his fans because everyone ducked him. Do the math, Kovalev killed a guy in the ring yet top fighters still got in the ring with him for less money.

GGG was manufactured and told to blurt out the same old punchlines.

"He good boy". Perfect line for his blind supporters to post after he KO's another beast like the undefeated version of rejuvenated off the couch Vanes. Or Planet Buster Geale, one of his best wins at the time gets laid out by a career WW with ease.

Or how about the time he tried to feast on a WW and ended up eating a mouthful of chocolate brownies. It then led to his fanbase feeling the need to jump in to defend him by saying he ate them on purpose. Which is what GGG does anytime he gets hit. GGG got his fanbase believing he gets hit on purpose, or carries his opponents into the later rounds to lure his rivals into thinking he looks beatable now so they will face him.

"I fight Mexican style". I called it after the Stevens fight that he can't fight Mexican style. His rabid fanbase thought otherwise, then convinced themselves that he could have fought Canelo in the second fight Mexican style if he really wanted to.

I fight anybody from "154-168". Translation: I fight mostly people of no challenge to me or big payday.

His fans keep saying he is past prime. The thing with that is, there was never a prime GGG. Why? No opponent he fought during his prime was worth his best. We never got the opportunity to see if he really had another gear because he was the good boy that would say and do whatever his managers/promoters/trainers told him to.

One of the all time greats Salvador Sanchez did not fight the Mexican Style. He moved and counter punched his adversary, sure some of his fights were close, especially the Pat Cowdell fight. He knocked Pat down in the last round, and gained the decision. No matter what a fighter's nationality is, as long as he has skill to win fairly.
