GGG clearly beat him twice. It wasn`t a hard fight to score. The second fight wasnt even close. GGG was owning him later rounds, and Canelo was looking like he is ready to go. Just because Canelo was on the front foot half fight, didn`t mean he did better then the first fight, no way.
It wasn`t even close at all.
Yet GGG get 2 loses in his record. And some people are so obsess with that moving in a higher category to fight some "star" boxer.
And Golovkin in his whole career was a Middleweight, nothing compare to Ward.
And Ward was the other golden boy. We see the disgrace decision in the fights with Kovalev. Esp. the first one. Plain roberry.
As for Canelo - Golovkin 2.
Of the 18 media outlets scoring the bout, 10 ruled in favour of Golovkin, 7 scored a draw, while 1 the scored bout for Álvarez. In eight of the 12 rounds, Golovkin outlanded Alvarez.
In most polls between expert, fans, and whatever you have in there it was 75-25 % in favor of Golovkin. The first fight was even bigger.
So that tells you the whole story.
And most Canelo shots was body punches i don`t see how if body punches do nothing to you whole match and have zero influence should count higher than head shots. Not to mention there was a plenty just marking body punches.
In both fight Canelo was outplayed by any means. Sorry but both fight to me wasn`t even hard to score. And then you robbery two time the current Champion to gift the title to guy who failed 2 drug test and get world of excuses and b.c. with that tainted meat.
Sorry but if that is the face boxing we are in a big trouble.
I like him very much and think he is a great fighter, but this shady decision in his favor only do him worst.
The guys that are real and unbiased, no matter what fighter they support won`t agree with this b.c.
I also blame Golovkin and his team. After the failed drug test, they just should have passed by. It was obvious GGG won`t get the win, no matter what he did. If he would KO him, they would probably DQ him or get a draw.
Yeah big money fight, but it was obviously he won`t get the win, no matter how better he is than Canelo. That was like selling his title for money.
And he had enough money for the rest of his life already. For that i blame Golovkin and his team.
