If Pacquiao could put him down 4 times in the lower weights then he has the power to put him down for good at 144 where he has looked sensational. I see the logic but I think JMM goes the distance and wins a couple rounds on the way
He got caught pretty cleanly by katsidis and then decked, now he is older heavier and going to take combos from a faster a far greater opponent. now he must fall.
My man, Juan has Grand Master level boxing skills.....he only carries the slight flaw that if somebody is bringin' hard heat down on him, he gets all "oh no the **** you didn't" and fires back in gun fights sometimes.....when he could maybe make out cleaner sometimes if he didn't. Give the Pac Monster Hell Juan!!!
I bet you anything, Pac worries about this one at night. Juan really feels he won those other fights. Juan also feels that had he got the nod in those, he would be the one in the p4p #1 spot getting mad media love and what not. With that said though, this should also bring out the best Pac we'd seen in a while.
Leon, why you put that "e" in the end of Margo and Cotto i mean what does it mean?:huh I am genuinely just curious. edit. And only thing because I think JMM might get stopped this time is because he is very old now.. coming up in weights with not much fighting experience, having hard Fights lately... if JMM will go down he will go down with his guns blazing like with all these tough as hell mexican warriors.
This is a classic and already a legendary duel, just when the red sox face the yankees or when united faces liverpool... anything can happen. Marquez is a noble warrior who is ready to go to war. Plus he knows Pacquiao too damn well after those previous wars. This fight will go the distance.
I don't know if many people said he would KO Margo, and we all know Mosely turned it into a game of kiss chase. I don't think those two fights have any bearing on this one. JMM ain't running from anyone. However, I do think Pac fights more naturally at this weight than JMM does. JMM is obviously in better shape than he was last time he fought at this weight, but I still don't think he carries it as well, and definitely loses more speed than does Pac. It's hard to say that someone who's never been stopped will be, so I'd hesitate to say he'll get KO'd, but I wouldn't be surprised at a late stoppage due to extensive punishment. I say all that, but I want to be clear. I have mad respect for JMM. I honestly believe he's THE BEST featherweight of my lifetime, and maybe the best SFW/JLW. He's just fighting at too high a weight. At 126, I think he beats Pac 10 out of 10.
just cause you think a guy will get KO'd doesn't mean you think he's a write off. I thought Marquez would get KO'd late in an epic battle, but I also though he would give Pac hell. You've never seen a competitive fight end in a KO?
