Anytime you wanna pick a Joyboy out of a crowd you just ask what would Margarito-Mayweather look like. The idiot that says it'll look just like Baldomir-Mayweather is your boy. :nut :rofl
Looking at the weigh in alone, I think that it was apparent that Williams was not in the best shape for the first fight coming in at 160-165. The second fight he came in at 156. To me it just looked like he was out of shape and might have underestimated Quintana in the first fight.
He knocked him out in one ****in round, you don't rematch a person you knocked out in one ****in round.
+ PW beat the **** outta Quintana??? Lmfao wow do you even beleive your own bull****? Dude just like PW claims that he was unprepared or caught off guard in their first encounter, well its safe to say that he caught Quintana on an off night, bottom line. You cant have double standards.Quintana boxed his ears off 1x ,PW k.o's him 2x...1-1 therefore a rubbermatch will settle things
I don't doubt there's a few people who go out of their way to discredit Williams. However, most just raise legitimate questions. Sometimes a guy has a style that will give a few opponents fits, but that alone doesn't make him a great fighter. Boxers today fight so few fights at the competitive level, that any loss or lackluster performance can be scrutinized and used against him because observers typically don't have all the much to go on. Most other sports allow the viewer the ability to observe their athletes over many hours of competition (in contrast to boxing) and we tend to judge those guys on their long-term consistency. If Randy Moss drops a pass or gets jammed at the line of scrimmage on a particular play, it won't mean much in the grand scheme of things. So, my point is that you can probably make a case against almost any fighter today. Back when guys fought 50 or more meaningful fights, it was easier to seperate the greats from the guys who were talented, but not all that driven or determined. The cream rose to the top.
In boxing when you get outboxed and outclassed for 12rds there is nothing flukeish about that ~next!!
All Quintana has to do is say "I had an off night, I couldn't get into rhythm." And if Williams wants to shut the ppl up for good, thats the way to do so. Honestly, I believe Williams KO's his ass again. But ppl are going to give Williams **** about the first loss forever.
