not true. sergio martinez, joe calzaghe....they're white and they get a lot of love from the blacks.

 

Froch gets love from black people.

 

I like Ruskull, Chef, Chitown, and Black Rayne.

I like Vitali quite a bit more than Wlad.

 

At one time I may have disliked them, although it seems a harsh term for 2 dudes that I have never even met...Perhaps saying I disliked their style is a more appropriate term.

I hate discussing them both as if they were one person, with the exception of thier size and last names they are not all that similar, but it seems no one can just discus one of them without making it seem as if they are clones.

If asked 5 years ago I would likely have said that they were very over rated, but kinda like Joe Calzaghe they have grown on me (as far as appreciation of skills goes...I am still not an admirer on any level), over the years. I also would have said that although Wlad will be remembered as the greater of the 2 in terms of legacy, that Vitali was the better all around fighter and would be the more destructive/dominant force of the 2. Now I believe that Wlad has it on all fronts he is the greater in terms of accomplishment, legacy and resume and is also the more skilled and versitile fighter and would do better against a variety of fighters and/or styles.

Having said that I am not sure of their impact nationally or globaly, but here in the States they have not gooten much positive press and are largely unknown to sports fans outside of serious boxing fans....so to me I would love to see an exciting HW come along to regain the interest of moderate sports fans in the US, and bring HW boxing back to a more prolific spot.

I would love to see David Haye (although I think he is a better publicity machine than a fighter) beat Vitali and challange Wlad for a unification of sorts.

But untill then...they are the best thing going today...but Wlad is better!

2: The fact that they never fought each other. It's fricking OUTRAGEOUS, yet somehow they get a pass on this? Both of their legacies are tainted by it.

I don't hate the K bros. Yea some of their fans are delusional as hell, but so what?

And to the people claiming people are hating them because they are not black, that maybe true to an extent. But it's no more than mexicans supporting mexican fighters, or cubans and puerto ricans supporting their fighters. Or white people thinking the K bros are the greatest HW of all time. Why is it a problem for blacks being more prone to support their own?
