Both have fought a paper champion (Stiverne/Martin).

But Joshua has fought a real champion (Parker) + a former unified champion (Wlad).

With 4 belt era, you can easily discredit any title holder. What was so great about Parkers WBO belt? He won it off a guy who wasn´t in the top 10(and Ruiz never beat anyone close to top 20)

But Joshua kept fighting and winning the belts. Wilder sat stagnant for 3 years. (Cant wait for the fight to finally happen and so we can be done with it. The most irrational back and forth between fans since May-Pac)

 

Except neither Mannylon or floyou came out with constant statements affirming that they were terrifie doing of fighting the other.

Joshua deserves credit for beating Parker which was decent.

However we can't escape the fact that he blatantly ducked Ortiz and got the rest of his belts through sheer luck and the misfortune of others.

Whilst Wilder not hAving more big names on his record is due to bad luck from his opponents either failing drug testa or be out and out through and through cowards who would rather fight stiff old men and wait until he gets old.

And i get the circumstances involved with each of Joshuas belts but he fought the fights. And they were good fights.
Wilder fought Ortiz which turned his career around. He was seen as a fraud and cowards prior to that. The Povetkin fight was forced upon him. Wilder did not initially want that.
